It's impressive how much attention has been brought on a fan pic. With as much as people were talking about it yesterday I thought it must have been something Nintendo did.

I had thought that as well until I saw the comic. I love what the fans have done with it, even making things like Boo and Chain Chomp versions. Pretty sure this is the first Nintendo fanart I've done in ages and was a good wind-down piece.

It's good that people are having so much fun with it and hopefully Nintendo will be cool about it. We'll also see if Nintendo decides to add something similar in a future game.
