crispy chicken

- That graphic showing the 7-6-8 teams finally becoming 7-7-7 felt very good for my OCD 😊 - Knowing the final scores and now hearing again how the 30.000 benefit is supposedly enough to "turn things completely around" is a load of bull crap: the difference between the top 7 and number 8 is almost 100.000 😑 - I really disliked the very long pause after each song's intro. I remember Mamamoo having an intro but I don't remember it having one of the long and awkward pauses. - Again I was really let down in the production in all performances. Can't even afford a phone prop for Suyun??? All the stages only had just like a simple background. That's it. That's all the production. Where are the backup dancers? Bom's choir? Legendary intro's like from BTOB or Stray Kids? The kraken from Ateez? Smoke, mirrors? The production here is just the same you can see any week on Music Bank or M Countdown for example. - Based on just the songs my order of liking them is: 1. Puzzling 2. I Do (song is great but I just really dislike that sudden wedding song sound) 3. I DGA (too much "I don't give a whuuut?" for me) Who performed the best? I'm not sure. - Both Billionaire and Last Piece sound great! - Jiwon getting eliminated hurt. I hoped she could survive 1 more round. But to hear her say "I missed the stage" made me quite angry at their company 😡 Let them perform! Give them a comeback! - Bora was the biggest surprise for me. Well, up to the interim votes anyway. This is the girl whose solo, out of 28 idol solos, was voted #1 by the other idols. She also carried the team in the dance off and had maybe the best performance with Kei. She may be one of the weakest dancers, but so is Kei. Oh well, it sucks. I hope Bora will get an opportunity to do musicals soon 🤞 So she can stop getting her heart broken again and again on these shows. She's just so endearing. She just wants so badly to be on stage and perform, it's almost oozing out of her 😢

I've enjoyed watching the girls performances and interactions but this show has been a train wreck. In this episode I really thought the IDGA team did the best and I wanted them to win but that normal excited anticipation feeling of waiting for the result has completely gone by now bc even though I thought they deserved it I also expected it. That's kind of part of the conflicting frustration I feel. On one hand, I think this group could've performed any song with their back to the audience and still would've won. On the other hand, that kind of thinking takes away from the fact that I actually do think they did well and deserved the win. I think I've finally come to understand why the 'popularity contest' complaint of any voting situation in kpop seems so much more apparent of an issue here. For the most part these idols came to this show with relatively small fanbases and I guess on a much smaller scale any variances in popularity make a bigger difference which is why Mnet should have implemented a more thought out system of scoring and judgement criteria. It's been a sham of a competition for the most part and Bora being eliminated is one of the biggest highlights of this problem. I didn't expect her to necessarily make the final 7 and I was OK with that but she deserved to make it to the final and it was so heartbreaking watching that hope on her face right up until the end. I feel like Mnet has shown less respect to these idols than they've shown in the previous seasons. They may always do their evil edits but there's no way they would've put any of the groups in the past 2 seasons what they're putting the ones this season through. Good for Elly for getting a main character arc this episode though.
