I have already voted for my favorite team based on my biases. for this week we will see if my team changes over time. for now my perfect team is composed of -Bora (vocal hand in my group) potential leader it also works with KEI but my first choice is Bora -Jihan (lead vocal or second hand vocal) (visual) (maknae) weeekly has a very solid vocal line too bad Monday is not participating in the show. -Yoreum (maa) (main dancer) (vocals) do you really need to mention her talent -Nana (allrounder) (main dancer) (visual) potential leader. -Yeeun (main rapper) (center) potential leader - Miru (lead dancer) (vocals) (visual). -Juri (mood maker) (vocals)

i'am worry for one thing imagine than most of the weeekly girls in a rooster of the queendom puzzle group that could be the end of Weekly. because they will can't promote with both groups and i think that this group will be a temporary group as alway's . or imagine Woo!ah without they're leader Nana , or Rocket punch with 2 members out .for the first time i'am happy to not see a Dreamcatcher member in a show because i can't imagine DC without JIU , Yoohyeon , Gayheon , Handong ,Siyeon or Sua imagine DC without Sua how boring and quiet this group can became LOL .

fabrice maire

if we got a season 2 that could be great to build a group with female soloist . imagine IU in a girl group after 15 years ??, imagine Jessie , Bibi or Heize in a GG or imagine Sejeong , Chungha , or Somi , Yena or Eunbi in another GG

fabrice maire

you're right DG i think HYBE prepare a survival show for a GG with 22 girls . i see that somewhere .

fabrice maire

i think NANA is a very unknow Visual. to me she 's as beautiful than a top tier visual like Irene ,Jisoo , Seolhyun ,Suzy etc... she's just stunning .

fabrice maire

YOP "you can't sit with us " i hate you is a SUNMI song

fabrice maire

i'am sad for HAEIN i use to love Laboum a lot songs like Journey to atlantis , hwi hwi or between us are verybubly and catchy song andi think DG could love a song like TURN IT ON they're darkest song . like Chaeyeoun she leave the show for personal reason .

fabrice maire

sam for Elly i think than more members of weki meki will be on a show some of they're most popular members like Doyeon or Yoojung

fabrice maire

yes and damn why MIJOO is not on a show with KEY come on girl you're crazy popular everybody will enjoy to see you on queendom puzzle maybe if they replace Chae and Haein .

fabrice maire

yes in fact that's what I thought people are let trolled by the Mnet teaser. but in fact Chaeyeon just came with a state of mind can be a bit too "combative" as if she was in "street woman fighter" but street woman fighter is not a survival like we usually have in korea. that's why I don't like it. I like competition and rivalry but there must be respect. and street woman fighter trash talk was not my thing. Chaeyeon admitted herself that she voted against all the others and it does not matter it is a competition that does not prevent the girls from respecting this and being friends. for once the MNET only shed light on things not on things assembled from scratch as they did on GG999.

fabrice maire

when WEEEKLY made they're debut i love them in a blink . they got an insane vocal line like i use to love in kpop like Red velvet , Mamamoo , Purple kiss ,Sistar ,Girls day ,SNSD . and they song After school became viral and very popular they win an rookie awards the year of they're debut but after than they got not many comeback.their agency did not capitalize on this success. may be a lack of resources. but the group has become almost invisible and crushed by the beginning of the new group of 2022 (Ive, New jeans, Lesserafim, Nmixx etc..)

fabrice maire

SO far all my bias made very good performance , Bora , Nana ,Jiwon

fabrice maire

so many former traine from produce 48 if the rumor where true that will be a dream to me to see on another show Miru ,Juri ,Nako and Hitomi but Nako and Hitomi are very famous in japan now they don't need to be on queendom.

fabrice maire

Juri is amazing she's like Shuhua , Yuqi , Bomi ,Mijoo the kind of idol who don't give a fuck about her image she's savage and cute . she's more cute because she try to be savage and funny .

fabrice maire

so Yuki is alone on Queendom what if she win .... damn i love purple kiss so much like they are .

fabrice maire

Miru amazing smile one of my top japanese idol with Sakura and Rei for sure . Miru on produce 48 was stunning and so charismatic .

fabrice maire

i see FYE in bangkok few month ago in one of her last fan meeting with BK48 ; before she leave the group. i have good feeling about her she could be great can't wait .

fabrice maire

yes MOMOLAND is a group from the survival show "finding momoland". the group released their first title Bom bom which became Viral as very few titles before it accumulated views on this MV to a point that only Blackpink had mvs had more views. even twice had not reached this number of views. then they had a second success in a row Bam. people were so surprised that they accused the momoland agency of buying YouTube views. then the group had internal problems and some members left the group daisy, Yeonyoo, Taeha etc. Jooe remained one of the most popular members

fabrice maire

THE QUEEN is here YOREUMAAAAAAAAAAAA

Laura

I really think Nana might be my favorite so far. Partially because she was the stand out to me of the Charismatic/Snap performances. Also, while I knew a group named Woo!ah! existed this is my first introduction to them so Nana's a new discovery for me but shout out to Zoa for being probably the most adorable. She's got such an endearing smile. After rewatching Jiwoo's whole performance that Mnet uploaded it felt like her vocals were a little unstable. I think it's just her needing more experience with singing while dancing. She'll get there. Also, while they may have enjoyed the performance I imagine it's hard for most of her seniors to think they couldn't do better. And Loona...who knows. I think continuing the boycott may just end up being a choice people have to make on their own now that the members are out of the company but I'll be seated for your eventual discovery of Odd Eye Circle.

fabrice maire

yes lol you got the proud Mom Bora who up vote for almost everybody and the Grumpy Auntie Chaeyeoun who doxn vote everybody. it's funny and it's ok .

fabrice maire

now 3 former members of Loona came with they're sub unit name ODD EYE CIRCLE CHOERRY ,KIM LIP and JINSOUL

- "You can't sit with us" is indeed a Sunmi song (inspired by From Dusk Till Dawn) - that awkward moment where 1 has seniority in age while the other has seniority in experience 😅 - Juri was so funny on Girls Reverse, and she's not letting me down here 😄 - From having a 600 mil YouTube video to not even having a manager... 😥 You just got to feel for the Momoland girls - yeah, the up- downvotes are always bs. Some will vote honestly, some will just downvote because they want to win, some are afraid to downvote a senior, etc. Do Hwa - Elvis is both an AOA song as well as the name of their fandom. - I think you were expecting for Do Hwa to remove her dress and reveal something powerful didn't you? For me it was also disappointing to remove a piece of clothing just to reveal a similar piece of clothing. I mean, what's the point? - Mini Skirt is indeed a popular AOA song -❗️About these up- downvotes. Be wary of the editing. There's no telling if the shown downvotes actually happened at the time they are shown, or by the people who get shown. Zoa - the skateboard is her iconic moment in the After School mv/performance. So it's a logical move to include it and also she has done it very often. So not that high risk. Jiwoo - "would you give her a downvote?". Keep in mind that a downvote doesn't mean it's bad or disappointing. The argument for voting was whether you think you can do better or not. So with the 7/20 vote I guess a lot of girls thought they could do better. I enjoyed the performance. Jiwon - Mnet trying to create drama by making Cherry Bullet rivals to Rocket Punch 😑 - Jiwon performing Gotta Go by Chungha was a highlight for me. - I absolutely love Bora's enthusiasm. Suyun - Mnet trying to create drama by putting the ones with similar clothes back-to-back😑 - Loved hearing Taemin's Advice again. I also think it's smart for girls to cover guys since you can't compare directly. - Suyun did pretty good imo. But it was very high though. Nana - Mnet trying to create drama by putting 2 Taemin songs back-to-back😑 - Covering "Move" is a double-edged sword. It's so Taemin-specific. It looks simple but is actually very hard. Nana did pretty good though. Chaeyeon - Mnet trying to create drama by putting 2 dancers back-to-back😑 - Her performance was good, not great imo. - Mnet trying to create drama by making it seem she was disappointed by the votes while she was actually disappointed by her own performance😑 - Also showing her slightly disapproving face 100 times 😑 Fye - Interestingly she changed clothes for her performance, while others were already wearing them. - Her singing was very good, but I'm not a fan of this rapping. I think she looks the most comfortable performing solo so far. - She was "shocked" by her 16 upvotes while she was expecting 14 or 15??? Really? Shocked? To see 1-2 votes difference? 😆 She must get shocked a lot then 😆 Loona - yeah, I'm not sure either. I think there will be a post from the Loona fans soon about it. Riina - I like seeing you enthusiasticly recognizing these songs 👍 - I think she did great. I think the others know that as an idol it is pretty inexcusable to not hit a note I guess. Jihan - Mnet trying to create drama by showing 2x Pop! back-to-back😑 - love this remix - and Bora's spontaneity - Jihan really sold the song, and I'm buying. - I expected higher votes. Wooyeon - her anti-nervous dance reminded me of Siyeon's happy dance on Weekly Idol - I guess she was still very nervous - Good job on the preview skipping 👍 Yeoreum - Best performance for me. Great singing, great dancing, great performance. I have no critiques at all. - Pronunciation tip: it's Yeo-reum, not Ye-reum. Bora - isn't it weird that, like you, I think only 1 of Kei/Bora will make it but never both? It's like Jay and Hanbin. But if you think about it, why wouldn't they both be able to make it? I think our expectations are already influenced by how Mnet wants the structure of groups to be: with 1 main vocal. Like, either one could perfectly be a lead vocal too. Or imo a group can have more than 1 main vocal: just alternate between songs for example. - just missing out on Girls Planet, just missing out on Girls Reverse. I feel so bad for Bora, and so proud everytime she performs 🥲 - the only reason I would put Yeoreum's performance even higher is because it included more dancing. Kei - Mnet trying to create drama by making Kei and Bora "rivals" 😑 There was a little snippet at the end why Nana downvoted her member Wooyeon, but I'm sure they'll show it again next episode.

fabrice maire

-1 Bora unmatched best performance so far -2 Nana best dance performance to me so far (i think than she's the number 1rival to Yoreum in a show now than Chaeyeon is not here anymore) -3 Jiwon great rearrangement of the song , great choreo créativity .and more for the song choice gotta go it's a banger . -4 Yoreum neck to neck with Nana but i put Nana above this time -5 Fye allrounder she can sing, rap, dance and she composes her song. -6 Chaeyeon good performance but she can do way better . -7 Jihan good vocals ,great energy cute facial expression.and i usually don't like pop but she own the song . -8 Zoa performs after school (most popular weekend song ) and Rum pum pum by F(X). i melt for her she was so cute my god i became a simp just for one fucking aegyo . -9 Wooyeon my god they're so harsh with her it's hard to perform that song normally but it's twice time harder to perform this song in front of Taeyeon . -10 Suhyun good performance but yes little bit to high pitch for her. -11 Riina not bad but not very good .

crispy chicken

Where's my girl Dami at? 😭 Personally I think the resulting group will only do 1 song/mini album. Although it's theoretically possibly to do more, but because of all the different groups, activities and companies, it's highly unlikely.

crispy chicken

Yeah such a bummer. She has such a great voice and had such great chemistry with Juri too on Girls Reverse 😥

2023-06-18 17:10:45 LETS GOOOOO - Because I'm a REALLY impatient fuck, I actually subscribed to Viki Pass to watch these episodes as soon as subtitles are available. Yeah, I can't even wait these few days for your reaction, I just have to see them immediately - To be honest, having seen this episode I don't think Chaeyeon is portrayed in a negative light. She's just very competitive and holds herself and the other contestants to a high standard. Nothing wrong with that. I didn't see any actual malice from her. This is one time where I'll actually say that people's complaints about „evil editing“ are overblown. - Get ready to meet THE Kwon Nayeon aka Nana from woo!ah! - Nana is currently a host for Show Champion along with Moon Sua and Tsuki from Billlie. - You Can't Sit With Us is a Sunmi song, yes. - The good thing is, it seems like everyone gets a full solo performance in the first two episodes, so all of them get a good amount of spotlight on them. Makes it easier to get to know them. - I'm sorry but someone failed at math here. AOA debuted in 2012. That's 11 years ago. Not 12. - H1-Key's Rose Blossom became a huge hit in Korea. And from a one year old group from a very unknown company. Pretty impressive. - Ok, the tiger edits for Chaeyeon are really cheesy. - To me it seems like they just wanted to emphasise how Chaeyeon's survival show experience has toughened her up. I don't really see much wrong with that. She doesn't come off as „evil“ or anything. - They really just sent in four out of the six current Weeekly members. - Ven Para is not a bad song. It's just not a good Weeekly song. - You should see the Form of Therapy reaction to Weeekly's After School (after checking out the song yourself ofc). Dude straight up broke down in tears and gave the song a 20/10 rating. - Juri literally carrying the other Rocket Punch members on her back. - Juri and Miru are both from AKB48 groups (Juri from AKB48 (Tokyo) directly and Miru from NMB48 (Osaka)). Both appeared on Produce 48 and after that show Juri went into Kpop, debuting in Rocket Punch in 2019 while Miru started a solo career in Japan. - The „0 days as a trainee“ is actually really accurate for tripleS Seoyeon. She was revealed as the first member of tripleS and came in with literally zero training experience. We got to see her entire development from the start of her training in May 2022 until the debut in February 2023 all in tripleS' daily vlogs. - In my early days of being a Kpop fan I also thought that Mamamoo and Momoland were related 😅 - Oh shit, JooE is PROPER independent now. She doesn't even have a manager, much less a driver. - If you're interested, you still have until tomorrow to vote in this first round. - So the tiers are divided by how many albums they've sold and how many music show wins they've had. Basically meaningless in regards to their actual skills. - Of course, Miru and Fye who haven't been active in Kpop at all until now won't have any music show wins. - And I like that Taeyeon immediately says that these tiers are meaningless and will be reorganised according to the actual performances they show. Ok, let's get into the actual performances. - Dohwa, born June 19, 1996, originally known as Kim Chan-mi but it seems like she legally changed her name to Im Do-hwa. Debuted in 2012 as the main dancer, lead rapper and youngest member of AOA. - Performed songs: mainly Come See Me by AOA (their final comeback from 2019) with little snippets of AOA's Elvis (debut song) and AOA's Bingle Bangle (2018). - I find it interesting that she wants to separate herself as a solo artist from AOA but chooses to perform three AOA songs here. - Wardrobe malfunction. Very unfortunate. - But to be honest, even beyond the dress this performance didn't do that much for me. Her energy seemed quite low, like she wasn't fully in it. I was expecting more from someone with that much experience and sadly have to agree with the rating she got. - Zoa (Jo Hye-won), born May 31, 2005. Debuted in 2020 as a sub vocal, sub rapper and the youngest member of Weeekly. - Performed songs: After School by Weeekly (2021) and Rum Pum Pum Pum by f(x) (2013). - The skateboard is taken directly out of the MV 😄 But yeah, this is the REAL Weeekly sound. Ven Para was a huge departure. - Yes, that was awesome! Rum Pum Pum Pum was never one of my favourite f(x) songs but this performance gave me a whole new appreciation for it! - Jiwoo (Lee Ji-woo), born October 24, 2005. Debuted in 2023 in tripleS, as well as its subunits +(KR)ystal Eyes and EVOLution (upcoming). - Performed song: Rising by tripleS (2023). - Jiwoo has a bit of survival show experience. Before tripleS, she competed in My Teenage Girl which ended up forming the group CLASS:y. Yooyeon, another member of tripleS was also on that show. - Rising (Jiwoo solo version). Really cool. - I don't understand it either. She performed well, nothing went wrong, why is her score so low? - Jiwon (Heo Ji-won), born September 4, 2000. Debuted in 2019 as the lead vocalist and rapper of Cherry Bullet. - Performed song: Gotta Go by Chungha (2019). - You've actually seen Jiwon on Girls Planet 999! She was eliminated in episode 8. - What Rocket Punch Yeonhee is saying about Cherry Bullet is very true. These two groups are so similar that many people think that they're the same. Debuting around the same time, often having comebacks at the same time with very similar concepts. When Cherry Bullet released the retro-80s inspired song Love In Space in 2022, Rocket Punch came out with Chiquita shortly after which was even more retro-80s inspired. Rocket Punch's next comeback Flash had these vogue-ish, runway like sounds and Cherry Bullet's POW had a lot of the same qualities. - I feel like Jiwon was backstage at MIK Festival Paris in February, saw Chungha perform Gotta Go and decided there that this is the song to bring here. And my god. She's amazing. - Jiwon really carried the spirit of Chungha here. One of the absolute best covers I've ever seen of this song. - Suyun (Kim Su-yun), born March 17, 2001. Debuted in 2019 as a member of Rocket Punch (this group doesn't seem to have fixed positions). - Performed song: Advice by Taemin (2021). - Suyun is also one of the people who competed on Produce 48 before Rocket Punch was formed. - It's so HIGH. - I absolutely loved this performance but apparently Suyun was really struggling with these ultra high vocals. Mnet cleaned it up in post which is why it sounds fine to us but the girls in the studio heard it as it was. I was really surprised about the score at first but with that knowledge it kinda makes sense. - Nana (Kwon Na-yeon), born March 9, 2001. Debuted in 2020 as the leader, main dancer, lead vocal and lead rapper of woo!ah! - Performed song: Move by Taemin (2017). - Two Taemin songs right in a row! And this is the big one. - Yes, her voice is amazing! She's probably among the three best dancers on this show, a great vocalist and she raps too! Do you understand? Do you understand why she's my favourite? - Absolute beast on stage and then she's adorable af. I really need to stop crushing on her but how? - Listen, Move by Taemin is a song that is impossbile to cover and do justice. The ONLY person who can do this song proper justice is Taemin himself. But! Nana comes real damn close! - Chaeyeon sounds like she knows Nana's full potential and that there's more she hasn't shown yet. - Chaeyeon (Lee Chae-yeon), born January 11, 2000. Originally debuted in 2018 as the main dancer, lead vocalist and lead rapper of IZ*ONE and then redebuted solo in 2022. - Covered song: Toc Toc Toc by Lee Hyori (2007). - That introduction up there was probably unnecessary. You know full well who she is :D I just did it for completion's sake. - Chaeyeon had a solo comeback recently that you've not checked out yet. It's called Knock. Whenever you have the time, I highly recommend it! It's an amazing song and an even better choreography! Much better than her debut imo. - They're probably surprised because she's doing a song by one of the biggest legends in the industry, Lee Hyori. - I'll be real, this one didn't do that much for me. I know what Chaeyeon is capable of and this wasn't it. - So I don't know how much truth there is to that but I read on Reddit that she originally wanted to perform Overdose by EXO. Mnet told her just 6 hours before the recording that they had copyright issues with the song and she needed to change it. So she prepared this performance in less than 6 hours. But considering the fact that other people performed SM songs without issues, people believe that it was a lie set up by Mnet to sabotage her. Which was apparently one of several reasons why Chaeyeon decided that she didn't want to deal with this bullshit and left. And honestly, good for her. - Bibi's sister in tripleS is Nakyoung. She's not on Queendom Puzzle. - Fye (Sumitta Duangkaew), born June 28, 1996. Originally debuted in 2018 as part of BNK48 Team BIII, a Thai sister group of AKB48. She was dismissed in 2021 and made her solo debut in 2022 under the stage name Fyeqoodgurl. - Performed songs: Hype Boy by NewJeans (2022) and Gone Gurl by Fyeqoodgurl (her solo debut song, 2022). - I went into this show knowing absolutely nothing about her but her introduction is really intriguing and I'm actually very interested in her now. - Good performance! I'm not sure what to think of the Gone Gurl song yet but I see the potential. - I just hope that Mnet aren't gonna use the fact that Fye doesn't speak Korean yet against her. - Kei and Dohwa acting like old people even though they're still in their 20s. I relate, Kpop is making ME feel old and I just turned 25. - For me, the Loona boycott was about getting these girls out of BBC. That has now been achieved. I've seen some arguments that a further boycott not only harms BBC but also the Loona girls themselves. Because they wouldn't be getting proper recognition for their previous works. And that's something they kinda need now that they're all going on a fresh start. Personally, I think it's fine to listen to their music now (and my soul needs it) but I understand if you don't want to. Just don't give any money to BBC directly by buying merch or albums. - Riina (Lee Seung-hyun), born February 21, 2001. Debuted in 2022 as a member of H1-KEY. - Performed songs: Rose Blossom by H1-Key (2023) and POP by Nayeon (2022). - Like many others here, she was previously on Produce 48. - Tbh, Rose Blossom is one of my least favourite H1-Key songs. They got much better stuff in their catalogue. Their debut song Athletic Girl is amazing! But Hwiseo joined after that so she isn't on it. - That mishap in Pop is not doing her any favours. I'm not surprised by the low score. - Jihan (Han Ji-hyo), born July 12, 2004. Debuted in 2020 as the lead vocal of Weeekly. - Performed song: POP by Nayeon (2022). - Jihan is a HUGE Orbit. In fact, Weeekly did a whole skit a few years ago about Jihan trying (and failing) to get tickets to a Loona concert. But luckily she got to have a surprise blind date with her bias Olivia Hye a bit later and then proceeded to meet the other Loona members backstage at music shows. We also call her the most successful Orbit 😄 - Yes, Jihan is ALSO doing Pop. Not really doing Riina any favours there. - And she's much better too. It's not just the performance itself, it's also enhanced by that remix. - Wooyeon (Park Jin-kyung), born February 11, 2003. Debuted in 2020 as the lead vocal of woo!ah! - Performed song: INVU by Taeyeon (2022). - I think I said it before but hearing Taeyeon sing INVU live was probably the single best moment of my entire life. I have never felt so many emotions at the same time. - The audio is weird because Wooyeon just completely stops singing and the backing track has to take over. - This was not a good performance. Listen, you can mess up all you want and it's fine. It happens. But just not singing the song at all? Biggest mistake you can make. I understand she was extremely nervous because Taeyeon was right there but you still need to perform. And especially INVU. This is my second favourite song of all time. I have very high standards for anyone attempting to sing it. Wooyeon doesn't even come close to meeting those standards. Weakest performance of the entire episode right here. - I fully understand why even her group mate Nana downvoted her. She probably knows Wooyeon the best out of anyone in the room and thus knows what she's actually capable of. - Yeoreum (Lee Yeo-reum), born January 10, 1999. Debuted in 2016 in WJSN and is now their main dancer. - Performed songs: Mmmh by Kai (2020) with a snippet of As You Wish by WJSN (2019) at the beginning. - Yeoreum is just built different. That's all. - Why did Bora downvote her? Well, just wait a few minutes 👀 - Bora (Kim Bo-ra), born March 3, 1999. Debuted in 2019 as the main vocal of Cherry Bullet. - Performed song: My Sea by IU (2021). - End it. End it now. Bora wins. - I'm not sure if Kei can beat this. Honestly, the only one in this room who MIGHT be an even better vocalist is Taeyeon. And even that is debatable. - Bora is on the same level as IU. This is just as good as the original. - And I've seen Bora live. There are no tricks here, this really is how good she is. In terms of the best female vocalists in Kpop, I would put her right up there with legends like Taeyeon, IU and Mamamoo. - WHO THE FUCK ARE THE TWO PEOPLE WHO DOWNVOTED BORA? I WILL FIGHT YOU. - Honestly, if Bora doesn't win on this show, it's fucking rigged. - Well, I'm curious to see what Kei brings in the next episode. - There was actually more non-preview stuff after the preview. Not hugely important but just so you know for the next episode. - So we had 13 performances today, probably gonna get the other 15 next week. And then we'll see what the format of this show is actually like. I really have no idea. All I know is that I'm pumped! These are the seven I voted for this week. No particular order: - Bora. You know why. - Nana. Like I said, she's my overall favourite and that Taemin performance solidified that. - Jiwon. The way she personified the spirit of Chungha. - Yeoreum. Also kinda obvious. - Suyun. She might have struggled but her performance still really impressed me. - JooE. Yes, we haven't seen her performance yet but I know how good she is from Momoland. - Yeeun. Same thing here. I don't have to see the performance to know that she's gonna kill it. Next week is going to mix that up anyway as we're barely halfway through these performances. God damn, this is the most I've written under one of your reactions in a very long time. Four and a half pages in the document.

- Zoa (Jo Hye-won 조혜원), born May 31, 2005. - Jiwoo (Lee Ji-woo 이지우), born October 24, 2005. - Jiwon (Heo Ji-won 허지원), born September 4, 2000. - Suyun (Kim Su-yun 김수윤), born March 17, 2001. - Nana (Kwon Na-yeon 권나연), born March 9, 2001. - Chaeyeon (Lee Chae-yeon 이채연), born January 11, 2000. - Fye (Sumitta Duangkaew สุมิตตา ดวงแก้ว), born June 28, 1996. - Riina (Lee Seung-hyun 이승현), born February 21, 2001. - Jihan (Han Ji-hyo 한지효), born July 12, 2004. - Wooyeon (Park Jin-kyung 박진경), born February 11, 2003. - Yeoreum (Lee Yeo-reum 이여름), born January 10, 1999. Debuted in 2016 in WJSN and is now their main dancer. - Performed songs: Mmmh by Kai (2020) with a snippet of As You Wish by WJSN (2019) at the beginning. - Yeoreum is just built different. That's all. - Why did Bora downvote her? Well, just wait a few minutes 👀 - Bora (Kim Bo-ra 김보라), born March 3, 1999.

LETS GOOOOO - Because I'm a REALLY impatient fuck, I actually subscribed to Viki Pass to watch these episodes as soon as subtitles are available. If anything I feel like it's gonna be something like SuperM and GOT the beat. Where the members are coming together for an album and maybe some overseas festival performances every once in a while but remain active in their own original groups most of the time.

What about Dohwa and Jiwoo? You didn't mention them in your ranking. Btw, the Rocket Punch member is called Suyun (수윤). Suhyun (수현) is a very different name.

Oyku T.

For up/down votes I think a lot of things play a role here as for a lot of these idols this is their job and a chance to gain popularity. Some factors I personally would consider when voting would be their popularity, threat level, do I want to be in the same group with them, my expectations, etc. As an example for Dohwa people probably did have a lot of expectations since she is a big name senior and couldn't live up to it, Bora probably has those 2 downvotes because there are at least 2 people trying to keep her in check, same with Yeoreum etc. on another hand I personally didn't find Fye's performance that impressive for a kpop stage, she tried all but her better area is vocals so would have been better to focus on that imo but she did get 16 upvotes because people didn't have high expectations and don't necessarily see her as a threat, I don't think she's coming in with a solid fanbase that would vote for her no matter what, like some other contestants

It was said this is just going to be a project group that isn't going to interfere with their own groups. It's not like the other groups where artists are barely debuting nor with 2.5 year contracts. It's just a project done together one time and that's it (at least that's what they've said for now)

I loved your reaction! I've been looking forward to this all week :) Performances: Dohwa(Chanmi) - The wardrobe malfunction was rough but even without that I feel the performance was just okay. I know she's capable of much better. But hey maybe she'll get the underdog storyline from mnet. Zoa - I thought it was fine. I'm not a big fan of F(x)'s music so the song wasn't doing it for me. Jiwoo - I thought she was okay. I would have given her maybe 10 upvotes. Ignoring the hat covering her face thing I think she was just a little unpolished since she just debuted 70 days ago. Also I think it's easier for the other contestants to give her a downvote because she's the youngest. She stood out in charismatic so I know she can do better. Jiwon - I've been rooting for her since GP999. Chungha's Gotta Go was a great song choice to show off both vocals and dance and I thought she killed it. Even though she got the same score as Yeoreum I think if she performed latter she might have gotten one or two less votes but still a solid 3rd place this episode. Suyun - The dancing was great but I agree with the contestants that it was too high pitch. It's a shame that she probably would have gotten more votes if she just lipsynced the whole thing. I would have given her 14 or 15 upvotes. Nana - Taemin's Move is my favorite Taemin song. I thought she did great and the dance break at the end was new choreo. Twice's Mina, Momo, Chaeyoung, Dahyun also covered Move a few years ago and I still prefer that cover to Nana's but I'm very excited to get to know her as I haven't followed woo!ah! Chaeyeon - I thought her performance was good. She deserved every downvote she got. She came into this competition treating it seriously and intending to either get first or nothing which I respect. So if the other contestants all see her as a threat and downvote her to keep her in check I would understand that. After her performance she seemed mad at herself before the votes were even revealed so I really don't think she cares that much about the 7 downvotes. I love how she's familiar with all the mnet staff at this point. I'm glad her solo comeback with Knock was successful. Hopefully her solo success is why she decided to leave the show and not because of mnet screwing her over. Fye - I really liked her personality in her talking segments. She's just happy for the opportunity and ready to learn. I was impressed by her singing but when she switched to her own song and started rapping I respect Yuki and Sangha(the rappers on the show) for giving her a downvote assuming they actually did and it wasn't just mnet's shading editing. Still she got a good score and I loved how she switched to Korean after hearing the results :) Riina - I really liked her performance. The Pop performance was fun but it definitely suited Jihan more. Her vocals where good throughout the performance with the 1 off note. If mnet didn't rewind and enhance I didn't think it was that bad. We shouldn't be encouraging them to just lip sync no matter what. I think I would have given her 13 upvotes. Also mnet seems to be trying to make her into a villain for being unhappy with getting poor results and wanting to take off those ridiculous armbands which are probably uncomfortable. Jihan - Chuu 2.0 Pop was a great choice for her and I loved remix/arrangement. She didn't know that they both chose the same song and would perform back to back but mnet did :) Wooyeon - Respect for choosing a Taeyeon song knowing she was the MC. She did a great job with the dance. I totally understand how nerve-racking that must be but I feel like she should have known herself better and picked a song that wouldn't cause her to be super nervous. As the lead vocalist of woo!ah! I was disappointed that she just gave up and didn't sing half of the song. Taeyeon choreography isn't the most difficult and leaves lots of parts for her to stand still and bless us with her beautiful vocals so I was sad to she Wooyeon not sing those parts. Mad respect for Nana who gave her own teammate a downvote. This was in the post credit scene but Nana was honest with her and told her that she knows she can do better. Yeoreum - After mnet included a snippet of this in the teaser this was my most anticipated performance and she did not disappoint! 100% the best dance performance of the episode. The contrast between her charisma on stage and the cuteness after hearing the results is amazing. Queen Bora - I believe that this performance had a special significance to her after GP999. Because she was stuck in a unpopular cell she didn't have a choice whether to dance, sing, or rap. She ended up shining in the we are performance but IU's My Sea was one of the vocal group options and I think as the best vocalist in GP999 she never really got the opportunity to sing her heart out until Utopia and by then it was too late. Props for skipping the mid episode previews as in them she showed Bora dropping her Tiara on the stage to make you worried for her performance. Turns out she probably just lost it while running back to her seat or in the dress rehearsal. I assume her 2 downvotes are from Chaeyeon because obviously and Kei because there's only 1 person on the show who may be a better vocalist and that's Kei. I agree with you that we're probably only going to end up with either Kei or Bora in the final lineup and not both but I'm still choosing to believe that we'll get both main vocalists in the group. Top7 - Yeeun, Yeoreum, Yuki, Kei, Bora, Jiwon, Nana Since I don't think it's fair to just vote for the 13 people who performed this week and ignore the other 15 I'm basing my top7 off of the snap and charismatic performance videos since everyone got to perform. Although I'm proud that the 4 on my list who did perform this episode were the top 4 excluding Chaeyeon since she dropped out. I'd be willing to bet that Kei will be the final performance of episode 2 :) classic mnet. I'm glad you're enjoying the show so far and you're doing a great job with all the names. I don't expect you to memorize them all even by the end of the show. Loved the reaction as always and looking forward to the next episode!

So glad it's finally Sunday :D I was so excited. It was really fun watching this episode with your reaction. I can't tell you how much it hurt to see Kei's performance cut at the intro when I first saw it. She, along with Soeun and Soojin, has me the most intrigued for what they'll do. After the signal songs, Kei's voice has me hooked. I get that it's a battle between Bora and Kei, but Kei's diversity in her voice wins me over every time. Personally, I'm rooting for the four days to debut but above that, I want to see the fire in them get lit up with the competition. It's something we saw a bit with Jihan when she realized the songs were the same. Something about these artists growing as performers through rivalry and effort is so satisfying to see happen in real time Zoa is the type of idol who joined the industry to be a model and actress but now sings and dances and raps. You could see her unnies wanting to cry from how proud they were of her stage. She learned how to longboard in 2021 for the After School choreo along with Jaehee, but even with experience, she was obviously nervous performing. It was so impressive that she handled the intro with the board so we'll. Not to mention one of the previews before her stage made it look like SHE'D FALLEN OFF THE BOARD and she was crying. It was just the camera. Mnet is heartless. I'm so glad you're skipping the previews Soojin has the potential to compete for main dancer alongside Nana and Yeoreum, but she's more known for being a leader and her center positions Soeun is also a main dancer but her voice.... she's not the main vocal in Weeekly because Monday is there and Monday is like a mix of Bora and Kei put together so y'know. But Soeun is the type of singer with a lot of emotion in her voice that can move your soul and fluid movements in her dance that look like she controls the elements. I'm so curious about her stage. Some guess it could be 28 reasons I'm also cheering on the wooah girls. Nana is SO FUN to watch with Move and Wooyeon did incredible with Invu even though she was nervous but they both caught my attention in Charismatic from the beginning Watching Bora be a proud mom is seriously one of the highlights of this episode. I hold her opinion of the performances highly after all her experience. It's proof enough that she knows what she's doing with how she handled My Sea The rocket punch members randomly being human again was hilarious Plus I'm so thankful Taeyeon is there. She's not babying them but looking out for them, encouraging, and it's so appreciated. Shooting for Queendom must've taken all day easily, from them sitting down to the performances and set-up for each one. So much respect to all of them See you next Sunday

So the thing about Loona even if the girls are free BBC will still own the music til the day they sell it to someone (cause thats the mot likely thing to happen imo) and its not fully over yet, they won their cases for suspension of their contract so that they can do other stuff in the mean time but its not been terminated yet. it could take more then a year before that happens, chuu's case is going to court in august but she started the process a long time ago thats why its coming up so soon

yes because i don't know what to think about Dohwa . the outfit malfonction ruin a bit the performance but it's not really her fault . i think than even without that malfonction her performance is just ok but i can't rank her . and yes i just forgot Jiwoo i rank her maybe 8 or 9 . and yes i'am horrible with name in western orthographe .

fabrice maire

my bad for DAMI . but i don't know i think they will have a 2,5 years contract like they do for this kind of groups . so i don't think than they can promote for both groups .

fabrice maire

??? 12 i'am not sure for that 12 is way to young. 14 or 15 is already very hard to manage so 12 . i believe you but i can't imagine that .

fabrice maire

yop please stan NANA she amazing i bet than she will end in a final line up.

fabrice maire

Crispy not you . MNET don't try create drama they do they're job and it's to put spotlight on interesting event during the show if it's feel good vibe they show it and if it's tense they show it to . we see on backstage than they ask to the girl to look "cool " on they're way to they're sit . we got that in every show on every chanel . it's not an NMET thing . and i'am sure it's the same in many other country . they try to create drama when they ask at FU YA NING to tease Yujin on purpose . they create drama when they manipulate vote but it's real drama. not something entertaining like the "fake beef between sinb and yoreum" .

fabrice maire

totaly agree with everything you said . i 'ma jalous to not be able to portray my feeling like you . du to my poor english skill . i'am curious to know what team you voting for . me it's Nana ,Bora ,Yoreum , Yeeun ,Jihan ,Juri ,Miru ( i can switch Bora for Kei and Yeeun for Yuki . )

fabrice maire

Crispy i'am curious to know if you vote and if yes for who ??. i vote for Bora, Nana ,Yeeun , Jihan ,Yuri ,Miru and Yoreum.

crispy chicken

I agree that it's definitely not an exclusive MNET thing, and that it's done in many countries. Just look at America's Next Top Model for example, and there are many many more examples. But if you classify these things, like the Fu Yaning Yujin thing, as REAL drama, then I just have to disagree with you. They were actually good friends on the show.

Marcel Wannieck

I put the ones I voted for in the first week at the end of my comment. It's Bora, Nana, Jiwon, Yeoreum, Suyun, JooE and Yeeun.

Marcel Wannieck

I looked it up. The youngest contestant is Sakata Ena from Japan. She was born in February 2011. Why is she here? Hybe, is that really necessary??

Veronika

Sorry (not sorry) Kang daniel realeased a new album wanna check it out?

Connor Reeves

Why do I already feel like the main storyline of this show is gonna be Cherry Bullett vs Rocket Punch

JetDC10

It was stated months back that the final line-up members will not have to take hiatus as most of their own group/solo activities such as comebacks/performances/overseas schedules will come first, and the project group will work around everyones main promotions.
