- you were right about the aussie idols: Stray Kids: Felix and Bangchan New Jeans: Danielle and Hanni Nmixx: Lily Enhypen: Jake - "out of 100 only 1 survives". This made me think back to the Nizi Project show (JYP show that formed NiziU). There was a JYP trainee among them that had been training the longest (5 years iirc), and she ended up not even making it. Jihyo also comes to mind with her 10 years of training. The number of times she "just" not making it must have been devastating. Watching girls who trained less than you debuting before you 😩 - as for Rose content (I mentioned this before but it might have gotten lost), she performed with Jihyo on the 2016 SBS Gayo Daejun festival. Don't know if you've seen that one.

When BP first started out, Rosie wasn't the best public speaker because she was so guarded in what she said. SInce they first started promoting Born Pink she has clearly gotten more confident and really blossomed into a great conversational public speaker. Baz did a great interview, delving into areas - like the training - that most don't really touch on. This is why I said that some of the interviews can be quite interesting, because it gives the girls more individual time to truly express themselves. This isn't about Rose', but Jisoo is going to be on this webseries - Dingae? - that's for kids to ask questions and get answers. It includes puppets, and that seems like something that she would really love, so I'm interested in seeing that. As to Jennie and "The Idol", it's a mixed blessing. The series isn't getting great reviews, but Jennie is getting a lot of positive mentions. Since she's a rookie and not the lead, this will probably be a positive for her even if the series tanks - that's how it generally works.
