le galas des pièce jaune is an event for ill children, they raise money so they can fund activities such as bringing them to amusement parcs and all. A lot of very famous and iconic french artists took part, and also international such as pharell williams, kid cudi... The orchestra is the philarmonique de Paris which is the most prestigious orchestra in France and one of the most prestigious in europe! The venue is the iconic Zenith de Paris that can contain approximately 6000 people with the floor area (here it was for the orchestra so i guess there was about 3000 people). Blackpink actually performed in this venue in 2019 for their first world tour, such a great venue, i recently saw loona there back in september :). The french crowds are crazy loud and passionate, you should check out some fan cams from their concerts in Paris either back in 2019 or even this year! note that at this event, even if there was a lot of blinks, there was also a lot of people that came for other artists and didnt know the girls but still the crowd was so loud! as for important guests there was indeed the french president and the first lady at the event. It's soooo nice seeing them just having fun performing, smiling etc Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes (Yellow Coin Gala) is a charity event organized by the first lady of France - "The Hospital Foundation, chaired by Brigitte Macron, aims to improve the daily lives of patients, caregivers in hospitals and nursing homes" and according to their website have helped over 15,700 projects

This is an event that is for a charity headed by the First Lady of France Bridgette Macron. The name translates to the Yellow Coin Gala hosted by the Operation Yellow Coins and aims to improve the conditions of hospitalized children and adolescents. This was also probably the reason why the First Lady was present at Blackpink's Paris concert. Yes, there are a lot of high-profile celebrities and performers at the event. Pharell and Kid Cudi performed as well as famous French artists. Roger Federer was at the event, and of course the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. There were photos of them after the event. One of the most famous was that of Roger with the girls which he posted on his IG account and the photo of Pharell and the girls that was taken by President Macron himself. And if you'd notice, when Lisa sang the lines "you couldn't get a dollar out of me", Jennie was laughing. Yeah, imagine singing that at a charity event hahahaha. Blinks were having a blast at that! This performance was one of the best they had. You're right, the dancing, the vocals, the fashion, the girls themselves all looking their best and all happy, and not to mention the live orchestra and the crowd. This made me so happy as it was one of my dreams to see Blackpink perform with a live orchestra and France just fulfilled that for me :)

Great performers rise to the occasion. The girls knew that this was a big deal and they were ready. When they heard that crowd, they seem to have gotten fired up and gone into overdrive. Like you and everyone else noticed, they seemed to be having so much fun. When you see that connection between performers and the crowd, it fires you up even when you're not there. They probably gained SO many fans in France.
