When I watched this for the first time I really didn't know who the "butterfly" was, so I was shocked by the revelation in this episode. Watching this series again knowing who the "butterfly" is made me focus (of course) if there were any signs, maybe in the way she acted. But no, not really. Even in this episode seeing her acting like she really felt sorry for the father to pass away, I was like: "and the Oscar goes to...". Yeah this episode slapped. Also, on the one hand you feel bad for mr Lee, but on the other hand do we really want him to succeed with Juri?

- Logically, one would expect Gang-tae to go to the police after finding a threatening note like that, right? But of course that would mean Mun-yeong finds out. - If Kim Soo-hyun was in Exo, he would be the oldest member with a two year gap. He's a bit closer to SHINee in age but his aesthetic is certainly more Exo than SHINee. If that even makes sense - I'm an idiot when it comes to women but I'm not THAT MUCH of an idiot. - Yeah, don't kill the butterfly but definitely do call the police. - Ok, at least he's telling someone. - Man, I totally forgot that she had DID. - This is also my cue to mention that the movie Split is a horrible misrepresentation of what DID actually is. While it is a good movie in isolation, it uses and reinforces some very harmful stereotypes and further stigmatizes people with DID. If you want to see what this illness actually looks like, take a look at Youtube channels like DissociaDID and MultiplicityAndMe or the excellent interview that Anthony Padilla did with three DID systems: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek7JK6pattE - Spam calls, how lovely. - I fucking love how suspicious you've gotten of the head nurse 😂 - NO SANG-IN YOU FUCKED IT UP. BAD SANG-IN! - A Tale of Two Sisters. I wonder if she's referring to that Korean horror movie from 2003. - Can you even donate a liver while you're still alive? I thought you could only do that with a kidney since you have two of those. - I think Yoo Seon-hae (DID patient) is over 40. Gang-tae mentioned her being 13 years older than Mun-yeong and she is probably around 30. But yes, once again this show is doing such an amazing job at visualising these mental conditions and the acting is just incredible. - I only experience REAL emotions like dorcelessness and nage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td2x8s9GZlo - An adorable expression, that's just Seung-jae's default face - Nah Mun-yeong, online classes are not a substitute for actually going to school. Trust me, I know. I went to college for one semester, then Covid happened and everything switched to online classes only. It fucking sucks. - And there it is! Can you imagine how fucking wild it was to rewatch this show with this knowledge always lingering in the back of my mind?

Donating a liver doesn't actually mean a whole organ transplant. Livers are regenerative, so when people donate, they cut off a portion of it and recovery is the donor regrowing their liver back to it original shape and size. Fun stuff
