- Yes the 3 members of IVE came to pick up their cargoes of awards with for the 4th time the grand prize (Daesang) for song of the year with love dive. -PSY he is the Godfather of kpop often uses the term king or queen for our favorite idols but with Psy this term really takes all its meaning. he's not singing live this time but he's there to bring an energy that only he can bring. -Seventeen I'm really a fan of this group since this year they released some songs that I liked the previous years but this year they released very big hits. CHEERS and HOT are 2 of my 10 favorite songs this year -Enhypen I still don't know the band well (didn't watch I-land) but I like their discography I'll look into them one of these days. - Big naughty x Soyeon x Jay park big naughty has been very popular since these beginnings and may be a future rap legend. Soyeon is very small but on stage she is a giantess and is truly a unique and impressive idol. idols like her there are one every 10 years. I'm very happy for her and for (G)idle their success is a big middle finger to all those who said she would never be an idol. - New jeans their debut was a huge surprise no one was expecting another GG debut after Lesserafim they took the industry by the throat and now they are extremely popular. I still find it hard to believe that Minji is 20 years old. looks so much younger. I predict that IVE and New Jeans will dominate the girl group division for the next 7 years. -Treasure very good year for them too they have released an incredible number of albums in 2 years and they already have a lot of very good songs. - (G)idle phenomenal year for them they thwarted all predictions (several people thought they were finished after Soojin's departure) but they came back 10 times stronger and popular if LOVE DIVE had not won the song prize of the year it plays between TOMBOY, INVU and HOT. and for me TOMBOY wins. they deserve their prices and I hope they will go up a notch. the "censorship" in tombooy is much more catchy than a simple "fucking" the gesture when they stick their tongue out is much cooler. and my god YUQI ......... i love you don't kill me Soyeon is always my favorite but YUQI hit me harder every time she performs . -SKZ it was their year I'm disappointed they didn't win a Daesang as BTS is a bit more absent than usual I hoped for many awards for SKZ. but it will be for 2023 SUPERBOARD live is really too cool I really have to see a concert of SKZ live. - LESSERAFIM my heart group with IVE I'm so happy to see the ex members of IZ*one at this level the only idols in history to have success in 2 different groups. LESSERAFIM is also one of the female groups that will dominate the industry for the next 7 years. (G)IDLE /IVE /LESSERAFIM / NEW JEANS the new top of the 4th gen . I love ANTIFRAGILE I play this music on repeat. - that thumbnail... Yeah, Yunjin looked fantastic. Psy - Funny that you would start with the closing act 😄 - He is 45 years old - Great shots of the entire stadium and the amazing fireworks Seventeen - Impressive that you also know male idol names and recognize their songs plus knowing the song names (in addition to girl groups). I tend to draw the line at girl groups and thats a big enough of a struggle for me. - The way they sang "is real" sounded like "Israel" 🙂 Big Naughty / Soyeon / Jay Park - Soyeon looks so good on pure rap performances. It really feels like her "natural habitat". And she killed it. Only negative for me is that she ends her rap with introducing Jay Park. Thats great for JP of course but it made the applause a bit weird: is it for her or is it for JP? NewJeans - All I see is a Doctor, a Cat, an Idol, Siri, and someone from a fairytale. - Personally didn't like that intro - I'm still amazed how girls that young can be so relaxed on stage. Then again, maybe it's because they are so young? (G)I-dle - "Oh lord, Shuhua". I agree. Ever since she dyed her hair she got sexy superpowers or something. - I liked the front camera but disliked that it casted a bit of an annoying shadow. Stray Kids - Loved the car entrance - Yeah that was a great intro song. - I also love that they didn't have any choreo during quite a few number of parts, which allowed them to play with the crowd more, hype them up, and have so much fun. I wished more (girl) groups did this. Le Sserafim - I hadn't heard The Great Mermaid before but it's playlisted now 🙂 - Yunjin.................... (left me speechless) TIP: Dreamcatcher will celebrate their 6 year anniversary on the 13th, and will be releasing a new song!! I was surprised to see that your favorite choreo of 2022 was Limbo 😄 (saw it in The Safe Cave's video).

SAKURA had also a show like CHUU can do it . her show is call Fearless Sakura she tries different challenges that these fans want to see her accomplish. it is very funny . Lesserafim got also they're own reality show call DAY OFF .

Thanks for watching the Safe Cave video, I feel like if I had another go at it my choices would be completely different on most of the categories lol, but limbo was too much fun, I watched the dance practice and just had to pick it.

Thank you for reacting to this outside of the normal schedule! I was excited for this but I was willing to wait until next week so this was a nice surprise! Gaeul is my bias in IVE and apparently yours as well until Yujin comes back :) Le SSerafim like most of these groups has been at every single award show so I was very happy that they threw in The Great Mermaid, Impurities, and No Celestial. The Great Mermaid didn't have choreo until now unless I missed something and it and No Celestial are my favorite B-sides on their respective albums so it was great to hear them performed live. HUH YUNJIN - 'I ≠ DOLL': https://youtu.be/9trNIRzbPMc Yunjin released an animated MV for her second original song this past Monday. The lyrics are quite meaningful and she also drew the art featured in the video although I'm sure someone animated it for her. Since analyzing and discussing the lyrics is kind of your thing I'd love to hear your take on it. Sorry for requesting stuff here. I wanted to let you know it exists since it came out of nowhere and wasn't on my radar. Maybe next time Le SSerafim has a comeback throw it in as a bonus.

Damn, what a show. Huge stadium. One thing I noticed that a lot of the younger groups perform for the camera rather than for the crowd. With Treasure, NewJeans, Le Serrafim and even the later songs of StrayKids (though the start was great) what I saw were tight formations, intricate choreo and worst of all, focusing on the camera and ignoring the crowd.... When you step "out of the formation" and chill of camera you are still visible to the crowd! That breaks my festival loving heart. I have been to venues like this, and if your not in the first 10 rows, those intricate hand movements are invisible. In tight formations it gets hard even seeing bigger movements due to overlapping dancers and flashy clothes. In comparison Seventeen delivered a great show, used the whole stage, and I'm not sure PSY even acknowledged the camera once.
