I also had some technical difficulties towards the end of this episode, my internet went out a bunch of times but I edited those parts out to keep a smooth flow. As I finished uploading this video I feel like I have a really high fever or something so apologies again for not doing another reaction as I usually do on Saturdays!

I got curious - is that guide to content you have pinned available to non-patrons? If it isn't, it should be. There are reactors I'd sign up for, but I have no idea what content they have or don't have on Patreon. I go to their page, and it's just minimal info, no detail. Having a list of content that prospective Patrons can view would be a huge selling point. On another side note, I've been watching Blackpink reactions from 5-6 years ago, when they were brand new and no one knew who they were. It's interesting. And, since reacting was a new thing then, I remember how bad reactions were in those days - constant talking and looking around, it just seems rude to the artists to not even pay attention to their work, but, they were the OG's and rhey were learning. As to Rose', what can I say, she's cute, Jisoo is cute, Jennie is cute, Lisa is cute. On these shows, it's just "They're cute!"

OK a bit of context for you DG 1 GIRLS DAY is a very popular second generation group. If now my favorite groups are DREAMCATCHER, BLACKPINK and MAMAMOO before them it was KARA, GIRLS DAY and A-PINK. a group with an incredibly gifted vocal line. They separated in 2017 but all the girls have solo careers. The most popular is Lee HYERI, she is an idol and an actress who became mega popular after filming the DRAMA REPLY 1988, she is also a model and she has is part of the cast of a very popular show in korea AMAZING SATURDAY. - she became one of Rosé's best friend outside of BLACKPINK members for many BP fans and Girls day HYERI is the 5th hidden member of BP

That's a good point, I do have all of the reactions listed in the tier, so people know what they can expect before they sign up, but that navigation post is not available to non Patrons. Who are some of the reactors you enjoyed back then that are still making content (and you still watch them today)?

not me who am very conservative for all that relates to sexuality. I don't think the Knowing Bros cast was disrespectful to IDLE. We know the cast well, they are jokers and comedians. and they are all older than the idols they receive so the segment was very funny and SOYEON explained why she chose this title. The agency tried to dissuade her by saying that people might misinterpret the title. but SOYEON explained the concept of the song and asked her agency that she is confident in her. the cast joked about the word naked but i don't think the girls took it the wrong way.

if you are curious about GIRLS DAY I suggest some of their most popular MV SOMETHING EXPECTATION RING MY BELL DARLING if you are curious about HYERI e she has already played in a dozen DRAMA in 10 years and 3 films 2 COPS and REPLY 1988 are the biggest hits and MONSTRUM is a very good film.

On the matter of friendship, it's a bit like military service. You go through boot camp/traineeship together and the pure pressure and shared hardship helps forming bonds with your "coworkers". In time this close bond might change, the Mamamoo documentary "Where are we now" is a good example for that. Also, being an idol is a job. Of course many have a life beside that, although in BPs, Twices or god forbid BTSs case that might be a bit difficult. I think one of the Twice members remarked at the beginning of TTT that they haven't seen each other for months. On the other hand, you are together with people who love to do the same thing you do and I'm sure a lot of idols consider other members their friends. I think Red Velvets Wendy calls the other members "business friends" but more as a joke.

Every reactor I used to watch doesn't post anymore - I think that better reactors came along and buried them. The Kpop early ones, I never knew about until I got into Kpop. What I found most interesting about those early Kpop reactors was their focus on determining their bias, even before they'd seen the group do anything - its a part of Kpop that I think contributes to the toxicity. I mean, there's a proportion of Lilies that are a complete pain in the ass, for instance.

i mention girls day sometime . to be honest, the 2nd generation had a lot of good bands. It was the most competitive generation. we called this gen the GOLDEN AGE. and GIRLS DAY was a group with a quite sexy but elegant concept at the same time. like SISTAR ,EXID ,AOA ,FIESTAR ,AFTER SCHOOL ,9 MUSES . they were on top in 2015/2016 with songs like SOMETHING / EXPECTATION / MR PRESIDENT or RING MY BELL. but they have an incredible and quality discography. in my top 3 second gen GGs. and in my top 10 favorite bands of all time.

so regarding that weekly idol episode confusion... the episode u were looking for next is from idol room (episode 7 i believe), not weekly idol. i don't know even know myself if they're two different shows, or a different segment or something of a sort, but it has the same hosts. so i hope that clears things up, and also i hope u feel better as soon as possible. take it easy and take care !! :)

- if you thought the rain with (G)I-dle was bad, wait till you see G-Friend's performance in the rain, where they fell like 7 times in 1 song!! https://youtu.be/Ag2R7Mt8yI8 - "Girl's Day never got recommended". Tbf a LOT of great 2nd gen groups didn't get mentioned (a lot). I think that's because your reactions seem to be focused on new releases, and it's quite rare for a 2nd gen group to still be around/produce new music (KARA will drop a new album on the 29th). Another reason is because K-Pop wasn't that big internationally during 2nd gen, so the number of international 2nd gen fans are prob much lower than for example 4th gen. Personally I would love for you to react to Girl's Day. They made music from 2010-2017 and were very popular. They haven't renewed their contract in 2019 but said they haven't disbanded. Here are my recommendations: - Something (a must. Especially because a lot of Idols get to dance to it. Dreamcatcher on Weekly Idol for example, but also BTS Jungkook, and even male idols crossdressing on SM Town) - I'll Be Yours - Expectation - Darling - Ring My Bell - "Isn't that the girl from Its Okay To Not Be Okay?". YES! Jin-joo. Great that you recognize her. - I like how you recognized Ma Dong Seok (famous for Train To Busan) while in the same screen there's Yeji (the main actress from Its Okay To Not Be Okay) :D Not meant as criticism and you are doing great, it was just surprising to me. Oh and yes, she has the same (first) name as Yeji from Itzy. - Yugoslavia, probably because it has the yu-go that sounds like the You Go in the song U Go Girl. - I agree that this was especially great to see because of the genuine friendship between Rose and Hyeri. I didn't know they were friends and I haven't watched this episode before. Their genuine friendship remind me of Nayoung's (Twice) friendship with Yeri (Red Velvet) when she was a guest on her show "Yeri's Room".

so many memories from watching this again, won't go over all as much is covered already, but my takes 1. the hilarious drama that came from this episode with the solo stans, from claiming it as proof that BP don't know eachother, to claiming Rosé threw Lisa under the bus with the comment about her lift not working... Just real fun display of delusional paranoia (if you find that kind of thing funny... I do because it is largely irrelevant and no one who matters cares more than to laugh) 2. Hyeri (pronounce the H then add JE and then RI with a rolling R (that kinda sounds like a weak L) and you kind of got it, just do it fast), didn't know her at the time I watched this, but found her amazing so watched "My Roommate is a Gumiho" and it was very funny, can highly recommend, you might recognize Kang Mina in it she was the intern in "Hotel De Luna".... and maybe that would lead you to Gugudan and to Sejeong and I would be ecstatic, but whatever it is a good show well worth a watch. 3. Girls day I checked out from this episode I love "Something" and "I'll be yours" from them
