funny fact the girl who wrote and performed the dance crab song is called PON JANTAPON after the passage of blackpink a knowing bros the video of this singer thi has been seen several thousand times whereas before that they had only a few hundred views, and on tik tok it's dance has gone viral. Thanks to this little boost from Lisa, the singer got a big spotlight and signed with a bigger Thai label. - for "THE IDOL" the American show with JENNIE I have the same feeling the last thing I want to see is JENNIE sexualized in an American show and being a little exploited. I know that touring in Hollywood is probably the dream of many actresses or singers. but the backstage of hollywood scares me very much. and it's that a lot of western fans don't find it shocking but JENNIE is an idol and her image risks being hard hit by this show I can already imagine the controversies that are going surrounded this role. I think she should have started quietly in Korea as JISOO in a drama where she would have a major role. a rumor has it that JENNIE would be considered to possibly play in season 2 of SQUID GAME since one of her best friends has a big role in the first season. -JENNIE has become very good at shooting I dream of seeing blackpink participate in ISAC and to see JENNIE in the archery category facing the best idol archer in the history of ISAC SEJEONG, MINA (yuna in hotel de luna), TZUYU, IRENE, WENDY, SOLJI, -yes jisoo and his partner of SNOWDROP Kim Soo-hyun are considered to star in a romance drama. Thanks to his role in snowdrop and his role as an ambassador for Cartier and DIOR JISOO came in 2022 the highest paid member of BP. 2023-02-26 17:16:21 The thing about them not appearing on as many Korean shows as others has a few reasons. First, after D4 YG realized that he had what he'd set out to have - a girl group that could go global. So, he started slowly cutting their dependency on Korean media so that when they really took off, their lack of attendance wouldn't be such a shock. Some Koreans still complain about it even though it should be obvious that they don't have the time for it nowadays. Secondly, by this time, there had been a number of incidents where BP had been mistreated or slighted - there was some issue with MAMA, for instance. As a recent example that no one else seemed to have picked up on, right after Pink Venom was released, it was put on one of those competition shows. The problem was that 60% of the points were based on sales and streaming, but Pink Venom hadn't been released for sale or streaming yet, so they were expected to show up and perform at a competition that they couldn't possibly win. Lastly, YG has always been picky about where and when his Idols perform. Some of these groups/Idols have to do 2 comebacks a year, with all of the studio time, the M/V's, the dance practices, etc., and also have to appear on so many of the shows, which take most of a day, what with going there, being introduced, performing, along with run throughs,, hair & make-up, etc. It's tiring, and can lead to poor performance, burnout, even quitting. I'm no fan of Yang as a person, but he's a good businessman, and how he's handled, not just BP but his other performers, seems to have worked.
