Guys, as you know I am a huge fan of BLACKPINK & TWICE, I am reacting to both groups and every other group that crosses my path. If you happen to not like a group that I'm reacting to on this Patreon or on YouTube for that matter, I won't stop reacting to them but you are welcome to ignore certain content, I appreciate your love for a certain group but there's no need to take shots at anyone when I personally have nothing but love for all of them :)

Let's keep this page as positive as possible, there's enough negativity in the world of YT/Twitter. This page is all about enjoying KPOP and exploring these wonderful groups, whoever they may be :)

Edit - Just a note, being positive doesn't mean that you can't be critical, whether it's of me or of the content that we may disagree on, we can be on a different page but still be respectful towards each other without taking critique to the next level where it gets personal, toxic and just hateful towards another group or an individual.

Sad because I’ve always thought Patreon will be a safe and fun place. True, there’s too much hate on YT, and it’s even the reason why I don’t have a Twitter account. Agree with points here about constructive criticism but that person in that comment section of that video just drowned their observations by showings signs of hate. You can make valid criticisms and arguments but once you drag another group into the picture, don’t be surprised if it bogs down your argument.

This kind of stuff isn't really unique. It reminds me of rock/metal when i was growing up. That was more specific to music types than groups. Though there were some hatred for specific groups. I think the difference with K-pop though is that groups are way more interactive with their fans than any western group. Which seems to really feed the sort of meta-relationship that fans have with their idols. The stronger that meta-relationship is the more likely they are to feel insulted over any perceived slight to their "friend"/idol. While I really like the level interaction/insight I get into groups that I like in K-Pop. I wonder if that level of openness is healthy for fans. Particularly for those whose in-person friend groups might be small. Or life situations may be more difficult. And sort of ties in with the use of the word "stan". Which is a pretty dark reference that a lot of people may use to lightly, IMO. Sorry for the left field sort of tangent from the main topic. I've been thinking about meta-relationships for a few years now. And this is just the way my brain works sometimes.
