Also, the Deadpool usage in the performance sparked a friendship that launched a thousand ships. Ryan Reynolds saw it, applauded StrayKids, got thanked by BangChan, they exchanged autographed merch/alcohol, Hugh Jackman in his “forever troll war with Ryan Reynolds” got jealous Ryan was stealing his fellow Aussies and got involved. StrayKids Chan and Felix became besties with Ryan and Hugh. They follow and like each other on socials, have met, etc. Also Lisa probably was still there but no way could they show her reacting, as a single female idol reacting to a guy group of the same age would spark stupid dating-crushing-inappropriate controversy in the K media probably. If it was her whole group reacting it would be different, but then they couldn’t show a favorable reaction over their own label mate. Kpop comes with a LOT of politics, especially with gender, age, seniority, and label affiliations thrown in.

This is my fav episode and song by Mayfly but also my fav performance by SKZ and the iconic start of a beautiful friendship with Ryan Reynolds as well as Hugh Jackman. Also did u realize they shouted louder for Felix’s abs than for Lisa 🤣🤣🤣 as said Iconic performance 🫶
