By far my second fav performance. The collab is my fav and I also got so sore fro smiling, and being happy about how quickly they clicked and worked well together. Especially the beautiful friendship with Felix and Ateez but overall all of them. Mayfly rocks and San and Felix dance so well together

I think the problem with "it's One" dance performance Is that I have to think about It with a cold mind to really get it. It's beautiful and with just three members they did phenomenal but...Mayfly performance was like a punch in the face; maybe less elegant and refined but the Energy and the Mood was so high It leaves you breathless...when you don't have a lot of time to judge this things can make a huge difference🤷🏾‍♀️. All in all I still prefer Mayfly if only because I feel they were "smarter" in the economy of the battle...

I just now got your patreon and am watching these so i'm late but i'll add my thoughts now anyways lol just a disclaimer that I am a huge multi-stan and stan like all of the groups on this show except for BTOB so I feel like i'm a little less biased towards a specific group in that regard. Anyways, for me, this part of the round definitely had a set theme, like they were seperated into rap, dance and vocal for a reason so I expect a full on rap performance, a full on dance performance and a full on vocal performance. For this reason, for the rap round I would definitely choose the It's One performance as it felt more like a legit k-hip hop song and performance whereas the Mayfly team seamed more like "idol rap", also I personally just prefer the sound of the It's One song. For the dance, I also prefer the It's One team because it felt like an actual dance composition, it had a story and emotion whereas with Mayfly...again it was just an idol cover? They picked a k-pop song and sticked to the theme of the original song and as someone aboved it did seem a bit chaotic because they wanted to show too much. For the vocal round, I'd choose Mayfly over It's One but I won't go into detail on that in this comment.

I see your point with the "idol rap" perspective, honestly, again, I hate having to pick, and even if I did pick Mayfly for the rap portions, I wouldn't be mad if It's One Won anything other than the Vocal performances, the vocal unit to me was 100% Mayfly. Dance and Rap units? could've gone either way, with a strong push towards It's One for the dance unit specifically :)

- You know, I was trying to catch up before you got to the finale but it looks like that ain't happening. Oh well. - I mean, on the original broadcast there would be a commercial break after the fake out. - Whenever you get around to SF9, Summer Breeze is one of my personal favourites. - Heh, and October turned out to be even worse. - They're introducing a legendary idol as a judge here and you're talking about Peniel looking like a PS2 character 😂 - Super Junior debuted in 2005 under SM. They are highly respected in the industry. Though I haven't really checked out their music myself yet because some of the members are quite problematic in various ways. - Brand New Music is the label of AB6IX I think. - Fucking hell, Shinsadong Tiger. This man is an absolute legend among Kpop producers. Just to give you an idea of what he's worked on: Muzik, Hot Issue, I My Me Mine, Heart to Heart and Volume Up by 4minute, Change, Bubble Pop and Babe by Hyuna, Wishlist, My My, No No No, Luv and Five by Apink, Trouble Maker and Now by Trouble Maker, Who'z That Girl, I Feel Good, Up & Down, Ah Yeah, Hot Pink, L.I.E, Night Rather Than Day, Lady, I Love You, Me&You and Fire by EXID, No Oh Oh by CLC, Secret by WJSN, Bboom Bboom, Baam and I'm So Hot by Momoland, and everything by TRI.BE. Which makes sense because he basically founded that group. EXID too if I'm not mistaken. There's way more, I just focused on title tracks by artists you've already checked out at least once or have probably heard of before. - MOTHERFUCKING MONOTREE. Alright, I need to list even more songs. Monotree's production discography includes: Pretty much everything by Loona up until Butterfly (especially the absolutely legendary predebut solos and subunits), Juliet by EXO-CBX, On/Off, Complete, We Must Love, Why, New World and Ugly Dance by ONF, Day and Night by Taemin, Valkyrie, Twilight and Black Mirror by Oneus Eclipse by Moonbyul, Bad News by Tempest, and a shitton of b-sides for artists like Girls' Generation, EXO, CLC, SHINee, Apink, AOA, Taeyeon, GOT7, Red Velvet, WJSN, NCT, Oh My Girl, Stray Kids, Gfriend, Twice, Golden Child, The Boyz, IZ*ONE, TO1, Weki Meki, Seventeen, and many many more. - Lia Kim is the GOAT. She is the founder of 1Million Dance Studio and probably one of the greatest dancers and choreographers of our time. - And I don't think I need to introduce these junior groups. But DO YOU REALISE HOW FUCKING INSANELY STACKED THIS LINEUP OF JUDGES IS? HOLY SHIT. - Bobby can NOT take a compliment and it's so endearing. - Hwiyoung only talks casually after the third date. - YG got crazy money with an HQ like that. - First time at YG and Hwiyoung immediately drops food, nice. - Whenever it says „Boss Bob“ in the subs, my brain misreads it as Bob Ross. - Awesome performance. Full on hip hop and three guys just having a blast on stage. Love it. I also really liked how Bobby eventually took Hwiyoung's autotune mic to get that effect for his own voice. - Lia Kim was definitely not in Queendom 2. I haven't seen all of Queendom 1 yet, so maybe she was in that? - Man, if only Mingi had been feeling better at the time. Imagine him joining the Mayfly rap unit as well. - They're selling themselves a bit short. 3Racha didn't just produce one mixtape. It was at least three or four. They had a full underground hip hop career going on before they debuted in Stray Kids. And I probably don't need to tell you this but they're the main producers for Stray Kids' entire discography now. - Meanwhile the clerk at the counter is like 👁️👄👁️ - Minhyuk could stroke my hair anytime - But to be fair, Changbin is hella ripped himself. Have you seen the biceps on that man? - See, Changbin gets it. (Didn't I go on a huge rant about vegetables under one of your reactions a few months ago?) - Ok so Bobby, Hwiyoung and Sunwoo did a great job, but team Mayfly easily takes the rap performance for me. Holy fuck, what a song, what a stage. - And I just love the genuine excitement that Eunkwang is showing while watching these performances. - Someone forgot to turn off the autotune on Bang Chan's mic. - Very deserved win for Mayfly. - I'm a bit confused why Juyeon is alone here. The Boyz have a bunch more dancers who could've competed in this round no problem. - Same with Taeyang. I feel like SF9 also could have sent another member or two. - Yeah, especially Taeyang and Donghyuk look so mature, the fact that they're only a year older than me is kinda crazy. - Art. Just... art. - And FINALLY Juyeon is actually satisfied with a performance. I started to think that wasn't possible. - The way Peniel teases I.N - You can be damn sure that if Hyunjin was here, he'd have joined the dance unit as well. - Eunkwang, you know what this means: more ice cream for your members! - Ehh, why did they have to go with Wolf? That's pretty much the worst EXO song out there and it's pretty universally hated by everyone - It is risky but it feels less risky than some of the shit The Boyz have been doing on RtK. - At least the remix is a lot better than the original. - Simple explanation: in Kingdom, everything is choreographed with and around the cameras. The camerawork itself is part of the choreo. In Queendom everything is choreographed for a live audience which gave Mnet the freedom to fuck up the camerawork as much as they wanted. - See, this is why you don't give compliments to Mnet. - But honestly, wtf are those lyrics? „shake her so she'll lose her consciousness“ As if I needed more reasons to dislike this song 💀 - Songsun with the sign 😂 Did she have that prepared? - Questionable song choice aside, this performance was crazy. And VERY different from the other team, which I very much appreciate. - Yeah, this one is tough. I will give it to It's One though. While the Mayfly performance was great, it was too similar to other Kingdom performances and could have been done just like that in other rounds if you put mics on everyone. JuTaeHyuk on the other hand delivered something truly unique and artful and that's what gives them the edge imo. Hey, we are just as grateful that you stumbled across Kpop and are doing this now 💜
