Hybe boss that created BTS, Bang Si Hyuk was one of JYP's key people. So, there are numerous people who came over to Hybe with him

- So I guess this is your first look at IU's real personality, huh? - Yeah, it was really surprising. J-hope's previous solo work was very upbeat and this was the complete opposite. It's not about if he can pull it off or not, it's about the choice itself to go with this concept. - I like mint chocolate but I also understand the people who say that it tastes like toothpaste. - Is he drinking beer through a fucking straw? - I have my experience with that. I used to do some theatre acting for a couple of years and that started with a few stand up comedy bits in my school's drama club. There were some people in that time who came up to me and were like „hey can you do some comedy right now?“ No, in fact I can't. I don't even write my own stuff. Buy a ticket to my show if you really want to see it. I wonder sometimes what my life would look like right now if I had pursued acting more seriously after school. There's probably a parallel universe out there where I did end up going to drama school and became a full time actor. - Pierrot laughs at us is a song from A Flower Bookmark, an album comprised entirely of covers of songs from the 80s and 90s. The original song was released in 1990 by Kim Wan-sun. Wikipedia refers to her as the „Korean Madonna“ so she's probably a pretty big deal even if I know nothing else about her. - IU does have choreo in some of her songs but she's way more focused on delivering a perfect vocal performance. Also, her concerts are ridiculously long, around 30 songs and often lasting over four hours. It would be unreasonable to expect choreography for all of that :D - Those BTS concerts in Seoul were actually streamed live to various movie theatres all over the world and I went to one of the broadcasts. It was cool but definitely inferior to an actual in-person concert experience. A month later I went to my first actual Kpop concert (and first concert in over two years) and even though it was a much smaller group with MCND (whom I also had only known for two weeks at that point), the vibe was completely different. The excitement was on another level. Online concerts were a neat substitute while real concerts weren't possible but I'm glad to be able to see musicians in person again. - I've only seen snippets of the Lollapalooza performance but it looked like a blast. Sounded like some proper Metal remixes of his songs. - This is what annoys me about most Kpop festivals. Set times being way too short, like 20 minutes and the groups can only perform four songs (or in the case of Dreamcatcher only 3 at Kpop Flex). Other festivals seem to respect the artist's time way more. The only exception was MIK in London where everyone got 40 minutes and performed 7 – 9 songs. - Oh hey, j-hope actually knows how to pronounce Porsche! NCT, takes notes.
