Issues with Patreon integrating Vimeo links... (Patreon)

NO WORRIES ALL REACTIONS ARE COMING AS PLANNED!!


Hey guys, so apparently there's currently an issue with embedding videos from Vimeo and even Google Drive, posting links from YouTube is working just fine but that's a big no no for me with possible copyright strike for something like Queendom, even if the video is private. 

So today's BP 24/365 and tomorrow's Queendom episode will be posted on Vimeo as usual, but I will just post a link to the video, the video itself will not be visible and playable as it usually is, you will have to click on the link, and then it will take you to Vimeo. 

This is a little annoying but from a quick research more a than a few people are having the same issue and are reporting it to Patreon, so I hope that they will fix it very soon.

Form of Therapy was doing both for a while, embedding the video but also including the link in the same post. So if the embedded video doesn't work, people could still click the link. Maybe you could try that.

It won't allow me to make a video post if the URL link is not embedded, and Patreon won't embed anything other than YT links at the moment, so I'll just have a post with a screenshot of the reaction and the link to the video will be posted in the description :)

Ah, I misunderstood, I thought it was just some of your patrons that were having issues with playing embedded videos, not you not being able to embed anything

If a lot of Patreons are having this issue, hopefully, they will make it a priority to fix.

One other thing, regarding the Queendom finale. I don't know what it's like on the site you get the episodes from but I'm currently watching the episode on Viki and they haven't subtitled all of the preparation segments yet. So if you haven't recorded your reaction yet and you find that the subtitles aren't complete for you either, Mnet have uploaded those parts of the episode to YT with subs. ok, I take it back, only the first three of these YT vids even have subs and the Kep1er one just ends right at the moment where the ep stops having subs on Viki :(

It can take a while for MNet to get around to doing subtitles. They still have content from last week that they haven't added the subtitles too. At this point, anything that isn't subbed on their youtube channel won't be done until Monday though.

I took a quick glance through what KShow has and it looks like those segments are indeed subtitled so should be good.
