Am I wrong for being mad at MNET for those first 2 performances? Or am I crazy?

Ok, I don't usually comment on older posts like this but I just had to say you are 100% right about the camerawork. I still remember how furious I was when I first watched this episode. Like what the fuck Mnet this round is purely about the dancing how could they fuck up so bad. But on another note, I can't believe Eunseo would just come out and murder every sapphic within a 10 mile radius like that 😍

Also wanted to add that "desire" performance was just so deadly. Yves really bias wrecked me throughout this whole show, and I didn't recover from this episode in general for days after first watching it, my gay little heart couldn't take it.

Late comment this time, I was at an awful Kpop festival on the weekend and then had a lot of work to catch up on after that. But we're here now! Just a side note, when I say that the festival was awful, I'm not referring to the groups that performed there. They were amazing. Yes, I did cry at seeing Dreamcatcher with my own two eyes. Pictures and videos do not do justice to how stunningly beautiful Sua is irl. But the organisation was awful. Hour-long lines for overpriced drinks, confusing wayfinding and announcing that the concert would be 3 instead of the originally promised 5 hours on the day of the event, among other things. Each group only got to perform 3 or 4 songs which is honestly insulting, especially to someone with a discography as huge as Mamamoo. Anyway. Thinking about it more, I would actually change my ranking from last week and put Soobin, Yeonjung and Eunha above Loona and Kep1er, just like you. The next episodes will be exciting. Loona performing their best title track, Butterfly. Kep1er, for lack of any other songs in their discography, covering The Boys by Girls' Generation, the group that Taeyeon debuted in. Bona returning to WJSN. I just hope that Mnet is fucking with us and Brave Girls aren't actually eliminated. This rule is stupid anyways, why does it exist? Before you get to Kingdom, you have to do Road to Kingdom first! I love SinB's cocky confidence. It does make a lot of sense that they won with an IU song. IU is so beloved in Korea that covering her in a competition like this is almost cheating. But why is Exy more emotional about this than the members who were actually on stage 😂 No pressure, Yeoreum. aespa - Savage (Cabbage Version 🥬) First place for each country refers to the pre-evaluations that determined the center positions for the opening performance of Girls Planet 999. And while Xiaoting also placed highest out of all Chinese contestants in the end (she is the only Chinese who made it into Kep1er), the final first places for Korea and Japan went to Chaehyun and Mashiro, respectively. Love seeing Hikaru helping Umji, and Umji accepting her help without question, even though she debuted almost seven years before Hikaru. Hikaru, you've been hella cool from the first moment we saw you in that legendary Boombayah performance on GP999! Leave it to Eunha to inject a dose of cuteness into even the most badass situations. Yeah, it's crazy how much this concept fits SinB, especially since Gfriend has always been the polar opposite of this. The camerawork and editing made it quite hard to follow the choreography, I agree. Others have already recommended checking out the fixed cam version on Youtube in your own time. The Hyolyn bodypillow returns! Eunseo did already play a (very seductive) villain in WJSN The Black - Easy. Yeoreum however is part of WJSN Chocome and in Super Yuppers they were a band of superheroes. Not quite so villainous 😄 I love seeing how much fun they were having during practice. I just hope that the wider public audience stops seeing Brave Girls as "the ones who did Rollin" and that they get more appreciation for their other music which is much better too, imo. It does look pretty good though. Their latest MV, Thank You, is currently the one with the most views, at 43M. Kaboom performance at the end low key looking like the Scooter concert I went to on Friday with all those lights and lasers. But yes, it was hard to see what was actually happening. Again, like others have said fixed cam is the way to go here. One central camera, no editing. I LOVE the fact that they're shining light on the NCT 127 Cherry Bomb and BTS Fire covers. They are legendary and Olivia Hye really was the stand out member there. I actually watched these covers more than the music videos for both songs. Why did the subtitles there spell Choerry as Choi Lee? Makes sense that Olivia's room is all black, her being the darkest member in both lore and irl personality. I spot a dreamcatcher in Yves' room! Loonacatcher collab when? I like Monika's approach, explaining the story of her choreo and exactly why certain moves are being done. If you understand that, you can probably also dance it much better. Finally, Yves gets the Hola she rightfully deserves! 😁 Man, the fake outs on the rankings here are on a different level. Chuu actually biting Yves' shoulder :D This is canon Loonaverse lore, btw! Yeah, Eunji is a good dancer but she should probably leave the acting to other people. I guess getting kicked out twice and performing the song noone wanted really paid off for Loona in the end. No separate comment for rankings this time. I agree with the ranks that they got on the show, for most of the same reasons as you.
