I'm guessing the one scene was CGI because it was an exterior shot based on how a location looked more than 30 years ago. The initial establishing shot for it was also CGI.

I'm late on this one, but it's been one of those stretches that I'm sure you'll recognize where everything has been going sideways. Nothing serious, just one stupid thing after another. Oh well, at least I'm not a hostage. ;) I've said that I'm not a fan of dramas, but this one is so well done. It keeps you guessing, surprises you, and screws with your emotions so well. Kdramas are actually a fairly big thing around the world, and now I get why. The Koreans seem to have this entertainment thing down pretty good - Kdramas, Kpop, etc. Good thing you have a new pacemaker.
