Before I watch this, I would like to point out two things. First, Oh My Girl dropped their new song earlier today. Second, (G)I-DLE is absolutely killing it with Tomboy. Last week, they won on 5 out of the 6 music shows (Stray Kids got the one other win). Also they got their very first Perfect All Kill (which is when a song is #1 on the hourly, daily, and weekly charts for all of the Korean services). Last I checked, they have gotten like 40 PAKs so far for Tomboy (obviously once you get your first for a song, it is easier to keep it going).

well deserve win for MAMAMOO but they're the best vocalist and they're the group with the most experience . to me 2 place could be between oh my girl and (G)IDLE for this round but during if we judge all round OH MY GIRL do better .AOA 4 i love they're song and they're performance then LOVELYZ 5 PARK BOM 6

SORRY is an amazing songs just like AOA did at they're peak before all they're bully scandal . JIMIN is probably top 5 best female rapper in kpop back then . and SEOLHYUN is one of the top visual in kpop history she's still is despite they're scandal one of the most praise idol for her beauty . even if now she lose many commercial contract .

LOVELYZ do aso a great job i love they're song a lot like you said very chill it's a great performance and they got 4 very charismatic members with great stage presence , and facial expression of course YE-IN / KEY / MIJOO and BABY SOUL . but they came very simple natural with no fancy props and production like the other that wh y they below OHMY GIRL / AOA/ (G)IDLE and MAMAMOO

it's simple they got all they're main point MAMAMOO know how play with the crowd and they're the best vocalist in a show period . OH MY GIRL queen of versatility , amazing vocal line just after MAMAMOO and bright personality . (G)IDLE queen of concept , very innovatice group , charismatic girls and SOYEON is just so unique and smart than she's the heart of the grou . AOA veteran group who want to know if they still got it . and they still got it . very confidente and sexy girls , laregest discographie amoung all of them , LOVELYZ lovely and brigh t girls try to escpae at they're "cute " concept but they're just to cute . big up to MIJOO / KEY / YEIN . PARK BOM cringy and akward LEGEND in kpop . she's just not ready alone to face a group of various talented girls .BUT she's very kind .

- If you looked at the comments for your Lion reaction, you would have seen us mentioning that it was from Queendom originally. I think we all decided on our own to leave you guessing last week since you had forgotten. - Oh man, syncing issues are always annoying, though I'm usually dealing with syncing subtitles, which don't have to be as perfect as audio. - Perfect picks at the start of the show for how things will end up. - (G)I-DLE has actually done songs that aren't dark. Dumbi Dumbdi for example. - AoA did do just a great job. The action scene and the rap were amazing. - Yeah, no reactions because it is live. If it is prerecorded then they roll things back or just make sure nothing important is missed. Also it makes it easier for them to fake things if they can pick the reactions. - I saw that look when they showed Sunmi. I told you you would fall in love with her when you finally get around to checking her out. "Gashina" or "Noir" are good first songs of hers to check out. You probably wouldn't be able to survive watching "Tail". - I wouldn't really call Cameo a girl crush song. It is more a cute concept. Blackpink, Mamamoo, (G)I-DLE are more girl crush. But I agree, Moonlight is one of the weaker songs here. - Lovelyz sadly is essentially over. They only released one song after Queendom and their contracts ended last year (artists contracts by law can only be up to 7 years in length, so a lot of groups end at that point). Babysoul was the only one to resign with their company. I know Mijoo got signed with a new company almost immediately, and I wouldn't be surprised if she made her solo debut at some point this year. - I teared up when I watched for the first time and Minzy showed up. You should check out Minzy at some point. She was the dancer for 2ne1, but she is good all around. She has several solo songs. - I know at one point I saw who played Park Bom's younger version, but I forgot. - The outfits that the backup dancers are based on past 2NE1 outfits. It was a touching tribute to the group. It was certainly her best performance throughout the show.

if the episode ten was just another round (G)IDLE will win this one. objectively they do every thing to win , they wrote a song for that show , they bring props , concept , story telling , outfit , back -up dancer so yes they win that round . but OH MY GIRL and MAMAMOO alway's reach the top of the ranking and they also do a great job so the résult wasn't a surprise .

MAMAMOO win for 3 obvious reason . 1 they bring the crowd into they're performance they alway's do that the people feel invested in they're performance .2 they're beagle and funny side how it's possible to not love them WHEE-IN is such aa cutie pie , HWASA and SOLAR are show girls and moonbyul as that " tomboy " aura than every body love about her . 3 they're vocals unmatched . yes MINNIE hit a very high note . yes the OH MY GIRL vocal line harmony are crazy good . but MAMAMOO is just better .

LAST THING you know who's benefit more of they're attend in QUEENDOM after the show OH MY GIRL and (G)IDLE . they're popularity increase a lot . MAMAMOO was already super famou and successful before QUEENDOM that was just like if the brazil win another world cu p. so don't be sad thank to QUEENDOM (G)IDLE rise .

- I guess you forgot that for all the preliminary rounds whoever performed 4th won that round, which is why Oh My Girl picked that spot. - Just voting whenever is pretty common for this kind of show. On the weekly music shows, the bigger groups typically go on later in the show, but they are also the ones that are usually in the run to win the show. - The Lion stage is so epic. - Rain is a solo artist who has been in the business for quite a long time. La Song, Rainism, Gang, and so many other songs. Last year he had a Netflix show called "The Hungry and the Hairy". He was the Hungry and Noh Hongchul was the Hairy. You might know Hongchul from Psy's Gangnam Style MV. He was the guy in the elevator. The show followed them as they traveled around different areas of Korea on motorcycles. - My ordering would be Mamamoo, (G)I-DLE, AoA, Oh My Girl, Park Bom, Lovelyz. It is very close between Mamamoo and (G)I-DLE though. - The chorus and the building at the end really put Destiny over the edge for me. - Another competition show that was more about positivity and brought the cast together is Good Girl. I think it is something worth checking out further down the line. It helps that the main cast was working as a team for most of the rounds and other competitors were brought in to face them, but even between both sides, it was generally very lighthearted rivalry. Hyolyn, YooA, and Mimi all appeared on the idol episode. - It could be worse. You could be watching it live and having to sit through commercials as well as all his stalling. - Lovelyz sadly couldn't capitalize on being on Queendom because their company didn't really give them much chance to do anything after it. - Sung Kyu is certainly a professional. He knows what he is doing. - From the very start, I expected Mamamoo to win. They were really the heavy favorites going into the show because they were bigger than the rest. - So Mamamoo's comeback show got delayed and ended up happening at the end of 2020. It was called Monologue and was when they released Aya. Queendom 2 will bring some elements of Queendom 1, and probably have some stuff from Kingdom. - You probably should be good with English subs to record by Sunday. I know episode 0, the raw version was out on Thursday, Friday the fansubs came out, and then Saturday the official subs came out.

Some predictions for Queendom 2 - Daniel's favorite group by the end will be Loona - WJSN will end up winning it (yes, I'm biased) - Dayoung will be the Mijoo of Queendom 2. - I think Hyolyn and Chuu will be the Hwasa and Kei of Queendom 2

Ah Mamamoo you know they really didn't expect anything out of this and honestly every Moomoo (the fans) i got to talk with they didn't either they just tried their best, with the other in line up they just thought Mamamoo wouldn't make it in the rankings but then they steadily kept the second place, i though if they had such big advantage in popularity they could easily just come always first but it wasn't like that so i truly believe it was decided by how the viewer saw each performance except for last vote which was adding all the scores it was just math that they would place first or second depending on the final performance, i truly believe it was going to be a battle between (g)idle and Mamamoo, but don't worry (g)idle still did their own legend and we could say queendom was only the start of their legend Mamamoo had another victory but their legendary program was immortal song which you saw the medley but you could see more performance of that like wait a minute or Delilah or passion flower here on Patreon

Ah I forgot that Oh My Girl ranked 2nd. Would've been nice if it was (G)I-dle, just to see you getting faked out for 20 more minutes or so :D Nice thumbnail though. Once again I totally agree with you on the rankings (what you thought it would be and what it should've been), and the reasons for it. I also liked the song by Lovelyz but couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing/lacking. Great to hear that you're planning to react to Kingdom, although my recommendation would be to first check out Road to Kingdom. Like Kingdom it lacks audience, but they make up for it with props and performance. I can recommend you tons of stuff actually, I just don't know what you are looking for. Do you want to check out more groups, or more content from your favorite groups? In case of more groups, do you maybe prefer checking out the ones from Queendom2, or groups that I think you'll (probably) like (like Everglow, CLC, Red Velvet, etc). In case of more content, what kind of content do you prefer? Do you want more of these shows like Queendom that are not that competitive? Or do you want to experience the drama in elimination shows? Maybe you want to see your favorite idols in variety shows? (Idol on Quiz ep2 for example. Funny and chill show with Soojin and Yuqi, hosted by Sung Kyu). Anyway, great reaction, still hoping you'll get that new chair though.

this was all of their " new comebacks " at the time , so lion , etc all were released due to this show. i love them all but Park Bom's performance is so special to us fans of 2NE1 they had a bad disbandment that was at the fault of their company and had to break up due to her having ADHD and taking meds for it " in korea that was considered use of drugs not medication " and cause a scandal. so it was extremely unfair and her song talked about her going back to that time she misses so much with her members, one of which Minzy on that video.

Thank you!! :) After Queendom S2 I will probably make a poll or something regarding shows like Queendom, and after we're done with Snowdrop I will probably do a similar poll regarding group content, though chances are I will probably start reacting to Dreamcatcher Mind after Snowdrop :) Had no idea there was Road to Kingdom, I've only seen people mention Kingdom so that's great to know :)

I will admit that I slept on Loona originally, and PTT was the first song I really checked out. Curious to see if it will show up in the first or second round of Queendom 2.

Hey Daniel, really enjoyed seeing you take on Queendom! One hell of a show Couple of things that you may or may not know already: - Unfortunately, Lovelyz is no longer together, 7 out of 8 members have left their agency. She also has some sort of project with Exy, the leader and rapper of WJSN, who are competing in Queendom 2 - This has probably been said a zillion times, but you need to check out Learn Way. It is a hilarious show on YouTube, first season is hosted by Yuqi, the second by Mijoo. I think you will enjoy it - Also probably been said a zillion times, but you need to check out (G)I-DLE's Secret Folder, also on YouTube. It's only 4 episodes (and some behind the scenes cuts) and it's hilarious. Anyways, looking forward to Queendom 2!
