Hi! Thanks for this. This was fun 😊. 1. You can purchase those hammer lightsticks (“pyongbong”) from YG Select. Please buy the original one. It’s around US$60.00 if I am not mistaken. It would be nice to see you do a Blackpink react vid with a lightstick by your side, or holding one. 2. Personally, I like the plain background you have. But I recall you doing Blackpink vids where you have a pink light somewhere, thus casting a pinkish hue against you all-black background. Very classy 😍. 3. The girls have gotten comfortable showing their bare faces through the years. Lisa’s bare face can be seen in Real Men 300, a reality show where she entered the military camp to train in actual military exercises. Of course, she has no make makeup there and her forehead is even exposed since she has to tie her hair back neatly. Rosé’s bare face in Sea of Hope went viral—there was a scene where she just woke up and hasn’t even washed her face yet. Jisoo’s bare face was seen in Snowdrop, in a scene where she was washing her face before they go to bed. It went viral because of how brave Jisoo was in showing her bare face, being the visual in the group. Jennie also shows her bare face, or with the most minimal makeup during vlogs. 4. I am from Manila, and we have shops that specialize in personalizing stuff for gifts, etc. That is where those dolls were from. So no need to be creeped out—it’s a somehow common gift around here. 5. Yes, that’s 16 Shots. 6. Yes, you have a very soft voice. One thing I noticed from the first time I watched your vid was your voice timber. It’s soothing. Maybe because of the breathiness? Coupled with being deep. Very relaxing to hear. 7. There is a joke among Blinks that Rosé only knows the game “paper-paper-paper” because all she does is paper. One time she was able to beat Lisa and she was teasing Lisa about it and Lisa was just like, “yeah” because that is just one time 😂

- Since someone already mentioned being able to buy it, I will add that plenty of other groups will have their own lightsticks. Most big groups will have them. Like you have seen Mamamoo's radish-shaped lightstick during most of their performances on Queendom. Dreamcatcher's lightstick looks quite evil and comes with extenders to turn it into a staff (and they also have a cloak that you can buy). - The hammer bong was supposedly inspired by Blackpink's appearances on Weekly Idol (at least that is what they said on Weekly Idol). A slightly larger style of toy squeaky hammer is used on various shows as "punishment" for stuff. Like on Knowing Brothers, guests used to use them on the members of the show when they gave bad enough answers to the questions the guests would ask about themself.

As for the dolls: The fans also gave them nightgowns (as seen in Blackpink House ep 1-1). Soooo... gifting a nightgown or a doll... Gifts from fans can be ... . I always find it fascinating. The fan feels as if Blackpink are their best friends or even family and thinks she or he knows the girls on a very personal level (even though it is not true). So a fan might have no sense for normal boundaries like she or he would assign when meeting a stranger. But for Blackpink the fan is a complete stranger. Must be ... interesting... striking the right balance between welcoming the excited fan while also making sure, everything is safe is a challenge.

Your talk about "perfection" was right on. Presenting yourself as being perfect is a never ending trap for celebrities. They're always worried about candid shots, fan video, they wind up getting plastic surgery - it never ends. The girls have been on so many cameras for so long that they have nothing left to hide and that gives them a freedom that, I think, many celebrities would envy.
