- You got it right. Mijoo. - If you think an idol born in 97 is young, don't look up when some of the idols born in recently debuted groups were born like Ive and Tri.be. - So the rules for the game they played on the bus is that the word they say has to start with the same syllable as the last word said. If you notice, the first and final character in every word was highlighted on the screen. In Hangul (the primary writing system for Korean), each character is made up of multiple letters put together to form a character for each syllable. Because of this, a lot of language-based games revolve around syllables. - Brief mentions of Lee Hi and Heize in this episode. Two great solo R&B singers. Lee Hi won the first season of K-Pop Star and was originally under YG. She more recently moved to AOMG, which is primarily a hip-hop label. She came out with a bunch of songs last year. "Red Lipstick" was my favorite of those. Heize was on Unpretty Rapstar 2 (same season as Hyolyn) and is currently signed on P Nation, which is Psy's company and also includes Jessi among its artists. "Happen" was I believe her most recent song, while "And July" is her biggest song. - Solar was born in 91 and Moonbyul was born in 92. There are probably some AoA members that were born around the same time. Generally, the upper range that idols debut is 21. It can go down to like 14, though the youngest members are often like 16 or 17 when they debut. It is very much a young person game, sadly. If you watch trainee competition shows like Girl Planet 999 and Produce 101, you will see trainees that are worried that they are getting too old to debut. - She certainly sounded better when 2ne1 started. As I understand it, the way she was trained to sing is not good for the long-term health of vocals so you are hearing the effects of that. - I didn't find anything mentioning that Billie Eilish acknowledged them singing it, but it is certainly possible as you have mentioned it does happen from time to time. While looking it up, I realized I have started writing Billie with three Ls instead of two. Habit formed from looking up stuff on Billlie I guess, especially since their new song "GingaMingaYo (The Strange World)" came out last week. - Yeah, they were censoring Instagram. Not political. Just Korea has strict laws about advertising on shows, which usually includes not mentioning specific social media platforms. You will often see when they have to mention a company, but that company isn't sponsoring, they will just say the first letter. It can also get really weird when branding is vital to an episode on a variety show, but they can only use it doing the segment highlighting it and then after they have censored it. - If you need to do more research, here is the full video of that 7 Rings performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89liyPID6Ec - Since "Bang Bang" came up, I have to recommend the cover by Hyolyn, Ailee, and Jessi. Ailee actually recently did another version of it for Immortal Songs, with Lee Youngji taking the rap part. - Lia Kim (and 1 Million Dance Studio in general) has worked with Mamamoo a few times, including on "Hip" and Hwasa's I'm A B. Also worked with plenty of others from Everglow to Sunmi. Seems she even did the choreography for Minx's debut song. - Yeah, "16 Shots" is a great song to show off powerful dance moves. I know the dancing members of Billlie did the dance on the 1 million dance studio youtube channel as part of their predebut stuff. I would have loved to see what they would have done with it here. - You are going to have to wait until the final performances to see the full songs. This is disappointing for Senorita since they aren't planning on doing that song for the final performance. - Yes, there will be performances next week. - I'm curious at who you think will be the 6th member of 6 Puzzles that was blurred out in the preview.

Seems like we share the same opinions: - AA was my favorite too, and for the same reasons. - I'm also not getting the hype about Bom's voice. Yes she has a good and unique voice, but some reactions imply that it is god-tier. I don't know, maybe it's one of those things that you have to hear live. - If you are already warming up to Mijoo, than you are in for a treat. She doesn't get that much screentime in Queendom though but she is hilarious. Seeing you getting worked up over these "fake-outs" is pretty funny 😄. It will be very interesting to see your reaction on the final episode where they fake you out for half an hour 😅. Unfortunately I'm not kidding though 😔.

Boms voice has never been my favorite bc its very nasal but it definitely sounded better in her early years. Her voice on queendom was not in the best shape to me and everyone was always going crazy over her. Idk 🤷‍♀️ seems like their respect for her I clouding their judgment of her. I love these episodes with all these interactions! All of these girls just seem really sweet and shy and fun once they open up. These unit performances are so good! Instagram is such a great song!! Lia Kim is such a good choreographer! Shes a huge name in the industry and she is part of 1million dance studio. I'm not sure about queendom performances but I know Wheein covered Kehlani and she commented about it and also Destiny Rogers commented on Wheein cover of her song and reacted to Lisa dancing to her other song so some definitely do. Doja cat loves kpop and comments about it alot too! I saw someone else mention it but IU and Heize were mentioned in this episode and they are both fire artist. The both have a killing voice if you wanted to get a sampling of their music.

You should just check out Soojins artist of the month on studio choom and her seven rings cover also studio choom... you know for research purposes Chaeyeon did a cover of 16 shots on artist of the month studio choom! She murdered it!

Glad you watched the preview bc I was screaming at the screen for the last half hour that they are previews 🤣🤣🤣

Daniel Goland

Yeah, people have commented on my IVE Elven reaction to let me know how old one of the girls is, they looked young but I was still surprised.

Daniel Goland

Oh shit, I'm gonna lose my mind hehe. And yeah every time they show the girl's reaction to Bom's performances it's like she's the greatest thing since sliced bread, and I simply don't hear that, it's most likely a thing of respect like was mentioned by tracisr.

About the age thing, there is definitely a good portion of these girls that are the same age or older than you if you just check their Kprofiles to find out for sure. For example, Solar was born in 1991 and Moon Byul was born in 1992, Jimin from Aoa I'm pretty sure was also born in 1991, another girl Yuna from Aoa I think was born in 1993, and Park Bom was born in 1984. And some of the girls in Lovelyz and probably Hyo Jung from Oh My Girl are either born in 1991 or 1992 I bet.

16 shots is a great song to dance to, I know that song from Blackpink performing to it. Rose kills me in it, highly recommend you watch it!!
