A performance you might find...interesting...is "So Hot, the Black Label Remix" Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skIfzl96Gc0 Since I first got introduced to BP and Kpop in general, I said that BP and other Kpop women may change the mind of men who think that a woman has to have big boobs and a big booty to be beautiful/sexy. "Thin shaming" is a a problem as well as "fat shaming". The women in Kpop show that they can be thin and still be hot. So, your little rant was right on.

- "We are not a team. This is a competition" is actually a quote from Jessi when she was on Unpretty Rapstar. That moment went viral and is what led to her becoming super popular. So they are just channeling their inner Jessi. - That song playing during the archery competition when Lisa misses her shots is "Spoiler" by Epik High. I think you would really enjoy the music video. BTW Epik High and Taeyeon both have new albums coming out on Valentine's Day. - Back when I was a kid there was a rollerskating rink that was about a 15 minute walk from my house so on rare occasions when my mom would give me money I got to go.

Since you reacted to Jennie’s Solo MV Try the live performance at the Gaon Chart Awards 2018, Blackpink girls join in at the end and they also perform DDDD and Forever Young. Iconic live and reacting in Patreon is safer as it sometimes gets blocked ( maybe it’s okay now cos it’s not that new but who knows ). Also Rose has covers and songs her song Gone on the show Sea Of Hope …. Super LiVE and stripped back :) Thanks 😊

Poor Lisa on a losing streak 😢 🤣. I love this show it makes me really happy to watch as well! Like my cheeks end up hurting from smiling. I used to roller skate at the ymca by my house all the time. Even now I own a pair of skates and go around my neighborhood sometimes. Its fun times. I also go to those indoor fun parks with the bouncy floors and rope courses and stuff. They are fun but you feel like so beat up the next day 🤣 The writing on the wall said im a fighter not a lover I think Not sure if you already did it but I love their performance of Sour Candy and Dont know what to Do from "The Show"

Your comments on them being shown eating made sense. Lisa and Rosé have been thin-shamed a lot (Lisa even addressed this in their song Pretty Savage). But they are really thin—that’s their body type. Rosé even said she is actually trying to gain weight. And all Blinks know that she really loves to eat. Her sister even said that Rosé’s nickname back in school was Porky Pig because she will spend all her money buying food at the canteen. And yes, Rosé and Lisa’s dynamic is different from that of Jisoo and Jennie’s. Blinks usually say that Jisoo and Jennie give off married couple energy, while Rosé and Lisa give off dating couple energy. ‘Think it comes also with Jisoo and Jennie being the unnie line and Rosé and Lisa being the maknae line. I recommend watching their Gayodaejun 2018 performance (https://youtu.be/cxNIewNXpcg). One of their best stages and possibly the most iconic one. This is the most viewed Gayodaejun performance, with over 200M views (and counting). Also, I have an extra recommendation. You might want to look at Blackpink’s 2020 guesting at Knowing Bros, which is a famous Korean variety show. You would totally enjoy it. It’s recent and they are very candid. But you might want to do that after all the Blackpink reality shows so that the sequence would feel right. 🖤💗

Food or Eating also is a big part of Korean culture. Korean literally invented "mukbang" which is "eating for an audience". Eating together with family, friends, even acquaintances is an integral part of social life. It goes so far that the phrase "Have you eaten?" (밥 먹었어요?) is equivalent to the english "How are you?", as in, a term of greeting that doesn't really expect a detailed answer. Many idioms involve food like "I've earned my food today." (I worked hard), "I'll buy you food later!" (sincere Thanks) "You should have food before you go to bed". (Phrase for early good night). "Skipping a meal" is seen even as a bad omen.
