Oh man, I can't stress enough how excited I am to rewatch this whole show with you! I watched BP House so many times but it has been a while since I did a rewatch, it's like going back to the roots of how I became a Blink. I kinda wish I could go back and experience it for the first time again to be able to react to it myself. It's funny how this was obviously your first time watching any kind of Korean reality/variety show content cause the editing freaked you out so much. I'm sure by now you realised that it was actually quite normal for these shows. I actually liked it when I first watched it, cause it felt more enganging with the viewer compared to Western productions. Anyways this was a fun time spending it with you in these first two episodes, loooking forward to binge through the rest soon :D

When they did that moment in episode 2 with the live stream that is a app called vlive it allows the artist to Livestream and chat with fans blackpink hadn't used it as much recently but many of the streams they done are archived on the service. But early next year it's getting merged with another service called weverse. So we will be getting a new app with features of both services. On weverse jisoo text chats with fans at the beginning of every month though I just read the translation on Twitter.

At the time of this blackpink only had so many songs so they are using all YG songs. By the way the YG ceo you couldn't remember his name... it's YG 🤣 their producer is Teddy maybe that's who you were thinking of. Jisoo is such a mood in that store 🤣🤣 she's always a mood I love it. I'd give them my whole store 😅! Imagine you're at work and Blackpink walks in and hands you macarons that they made. If I didn't die on the spot I'd be working every shift from now on! Rice cakes are actually a very very popular food there. It's in tteokbokki (among other things) and considered a snack food it's sooooo yummy but macaroons definitely fit them better.

Rose is the tallest but she also had like 10 inch heels on in that shoot! It's so cute how idols actually take their time to make gifts for their fans when they do these meetings. I'm glad they didn't overdo it with the black and pink in the house. Also in the beginning they did call them props 🤣 I love the edits they are so cute maybe I'm just used to it 🤷‍♀️ the reason that happens is because they want you to see the girls doing whatever they do and also see the other person's reactions. It's something I've found you have to get used to if you watch Korean reality shows bc it happens on all of them I've seen. Those chicken buns look soooo good 🤤 their personalities and everything just gets better from here on! Hope you don't mind the editing too much to keep watching 😉 it's funny how you were talking about their fans being so polite which they are for the most part but there is a famous clip from this episode of a fan ignoring rose and running right past her to get a photo of Lisa. I just thought it was a funny side note. Jisoo once again being a mood 🤣. I love guide reactions you should definitely still check some out for other groups you get into.

It was in the subtitles it was like the kitchen is full of props which I think was like a language misinterpretation but it's funny bc then you are like they are just props 🤣

I liked the reaction, but a couple of suggestions. Just like with a music video, if you're going to look into the camera, or away from the screen, you should pause. I understand the time issue, but you miss some funny/cute moments, and some of them are iconic BP lines/moments. And, yeah, you're going to have to get used to the fact that Korean (and other Asian countries) don't shoot reality shows like you would do it - they add animations, sound effects, and they replay scenes from different camera angles. They also use different appliances than you do. ;) You'll see that some scenarios are pre-planned. If there's a llive camera person there, then something has been set up. The girls may not know what's going on, but they've been told to be there. Their reactions are genuine, and we get to see their true personalities, and that's what this is about - just being able to relax and enjoy getting to know them.

I forgot something. Can't you download the episodes and then react to them? That would solve the lagging issue. Screen capture should still work, wouldn't it? It's been a long time since I did any of this, so I don't actually know.

Yeah, that would work but the site I watched it on didn't let me download it. I'll find a different source where I can download it for ep 3 and forward.

You can just download it off of YouTube from Blackpink channel. I download stuff all the time because I have bad eyesight and I can adjust my video player to correct the video so that I can see it properly. There are lots of free YouTube downloaders out there, just be sure to get them from the creators site if you can so that you don't risk malware. I have IDM, but there are many that will do the job.

Couldn’t agree more! I see a lot of reactors say the same thing as well. Never watch a Blackpink show (House, 24/364, Diaries, random clips) with an empty stomach 😂

By the time I finished reacting it was midnight so I couldn't go crazy but I toasted some brioche bread with peanut butter and devoured it in 2 seconds with some coffee (yeah, coffee at midnight, I do that 😂😂😂)

Your comments on editing at interesting, because compared to some other Korean variety shows I would consider this on the lighter side. It can take a bit to get used to the Korean style. The repeats for reaction shots are an excellent example of that. Though with the repeats, they are usually a bit more strategically used (or maybe I'm just noticing them more than usual since you are pointing them out). Text on screen is a very big thing for Korean shows too. Whether it is describing the scene like you have been seeing here, adding extra details, or often just putting the words that they are saying for emphasis. Though usually it is hardcoded on the screen (though they do that here and there on here) rather than showing up as subtitles. This makes me think this was editing kind of in a hybrid style meant both for Korean audiences and Western Audiences. Once you get into other shows like Queendom, you will see what I mean. The extra little sound effects are another fairly common thing, though maybe not as much as what they are doing here. One of my favorite examples is Choi Yena, who is often called a duck due to her lips so in pretty much every show she is on, they will add in duck sounds when she is doing stuff. So it looks like for deciding the rooms, they played a game called ladder. So in the game you start with a number of vertical lines to match up however many outcomes there would be (looks like they did 3 lines so Rose's room was already decided?) and then you draw other lines to connect those vertical lines at various spots. Once all those lines are drawn, someone will pick the top of one of the vertical lines and follow it down. When they come across another line, they follow it to whatever vertical line it is connected to. You keep doing that until you get to the bottom and find out which spot you got. Repeat for the other players. So some details about their trainee days. YG's female trainees at the time were split into two groups. There was Pink Punk and Future 2NE1. Pink Punk obviously became Blackpink, though they did slim down over the years as trainees moved for one reason or another (it is not that uncommon for trainees from the big companies to be released even if they are good so that other companies can sign them). One of the last Pink Punk members that didn't make it into Blackpink was Miyeon of (G)I-Dle. Sadly Future 2NE1 never made it off the ground, though the last member finally made their debut last year (Moon SuA of Billlie). I don't know what site you are viewing this on (obviously not kshow since there are no watermarks), but one browser extension that might be useful to download is OpenVideo.It will allow you to download videos of many of the streaming services used by these sites.

MY god it's maybe the 20 th time i see a youtuber reaction on this show . and i also watch it my self hundred time . JISOO steal that show . before that many people only wave eys on JENNIE and some on LISA or ROSE but JISOO is without a doubt the member with the most unique personality .many people fall in love with JISOO after that show . this show is also special to me because i work very near to the blackpink in hongdae .and i see them often in my restaurant back then .
