- Episode 11 is the finale where the final lineup of I.O.I is announced. - My personal choice for the next survival show would be Peak Time but I'd be down for I-Land too. Generally a male show would be nice because we've just done four female shows back to back. We haven't watched a male survival show since Boys Planet and that ended over nine months ago. - Random surprise Jessi - I know that Yoojung went on Jessi's Showterview. I wonder, did this come up? - Yeah that dance step in 24 Hours is called shuffling (or sth like that) and it was particularly popular in the hardcore techno genre in the early 2000s. Stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T41AwlLcqbI - Oh my god, it's Ryan Jhun, he's fucking everywhere - The title Fingertips makes me think of Gfriend immediately. - I am sorry. I love Sejeong to pieces but the only god around here is God Jihyo. - Sehee, are you incapable of reading the huge ass sign on the door? 😂 - I wonder where these people that left those comments about Soyeon's looks are now. Hopefully seething and coping at the fact that she's basically created one of the biggest girl groups in Kpop history. - These lineups are gonna get shuffled around again after the elimination anyway. - While this show was airing, Blackpink hadn't even debuted yet. - Thanks for the speed up. Makes this a lot less draining to sit through. - But I don't really have much to say on the rankings here. I already know the full final lineup anyway. - Of course I will be giving an update on all the eliminated girls in my next comment. Might take a few hours tho, so bear with me.

Alright, this took way longer than I intended but here's where trainees 36 – 61 have ended up: #36: Kang Siwon (the individual trainee) was set to debut in a girl group called UNI in 2018 but that never came to pass. She did eventually debut solo in 2019 under the stage name Kang Xiwon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDOmZUQdQKM But she only ever had one comeback and hasn't released any music since October 2019. She seems to be working as a general Influencer these days and has recently done some promotions for the tourism board of Sanya, a city on Hainan Island, off the southern coast of China: https://www.instagram.com/cool_siwon516 #37: Yoon Seohyung was part of that 101 project group I talked about under the last elimination episode. So she got together with seven other eliminated trainees and released the song Don't Give Up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln2q4A9zL3E After that she quit the singing career and became an actress instead, appearing in a good number of movies and a few dramas as well. She also changed her name to Kwon Ipsae in 2020. Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leafykwon #38: Park Haeyoung was also part of the 101 project group. She later debuted in A.DE along with Kim Miso and Heo Saem whom I talked about under the last elimination. They disbanded relatively quickly. Haeyoung also competed on MixNine. She would eventually make her solo debut in 2021 and released her first music video in 2022: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jEpokt6tXA It seems like she recently changed her stage name to wYte and actually released her most recent song TODAY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHYNDCCAns4 Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/h.young_____ #39: Hwang Sooyeon is someone who's VERY familiar to many Insomnia. She actually left Happyface after PD101 and worked as a backup dancer for artists like TVXQ, Taemin, Taeyeon, Highlight and many more. She rejoined Dreamcatcher Company in 2019 and has become the performance director and main choreographer for Dreamcatcher. The choreos for Deja Vu, Scream, Black or White, Boca, Odd Eye, Wind Blows, BEcause, Maison, Vision, Bonvoyage, Propose and Shatter are all her creations. Plus, she has also debuted as a solo artist of her own, using the stage name S8YN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aouAQs0xRyY Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hwang__sooyeon #40: Kim Sihyeon should also be familiar to you (even if they did write her name as „Sihyun“ in these subtitles). She joined Yuehua somewhere between 2016 and 2018 and then competed again on Produce 48. And finally, in 2019 Sihyeon debuted in EVERGLOW and has since then also been promoted to be the leader of the group. You've actually already seen all the main title tracks from Everglow, so the only thing I could still recommend is their Unicef promo Promise. But it's a damn good song, I promise ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZmBo1EQnlE Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/i_m_sihyeony/ And this is not really relevant but I was fortunate enough to attend an Everglow concert about a month and a half ago. Front row. And dude, you do not unterstand how stunningly beautiful Sihyeon is until you see her in front of you with your own eyes 🫠 #41: Cho Shiyoon is working as an independant actress: https://www.instagram.com/shi_yoon2 #42: Kim Minkyeung debuted in PRISTIN in March 2017. Remember that name, you'll be seeing it a lot. Because Pledis put ALL 7 of their PD101 contestants in this group + 3 more girls. But before that they would first release a predebut single called We under the temporary name Pledis Girlz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TMDWIy6-Jc Minkyeung actually wrote some lyrics on this too! When Pristin debuted, she went by the stage name Roa. Unfortunately, Pledis also completely fumbled the bag with Pristin. They had this insanely talented and really popular girl group on their hands and still disbanded them after only one comeback. I will never understand this. One of the biggest wastes of talent in Kpop history. Minkyeung would later redebut in Hinapia with a few other former Pristin members but they never released anything beyond their debut single. She's been focusing on modeling since then: https://www.instagram.com/minkyeung_729 #43: Park Sehee took on the stage name Say and debuted in a group called Bulldok along with the other Kconic trainees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOnK_GOR3W8 They disbanded in 2018. Say later joined a hip hop group called PEACE but they never released a music video. I'm not sure if she's still pursuing a music career. Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sssay_p #44: Kim Minji also debuted in Bulldok together with Say. She went by the stage name Kimi. Kimi also released two solo songs: I Am and Mammy Mammy. Neither have a music video but the latter got some live stages at least. Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/queenkong_kimi #45: Kim Minjeong at some point joined HighUp Entertainment and was seen training with the girls that would later debut as STAYC. So in another universe, she might have been a member of Stayc today. Obviously that didn't happen though. She has changed companies a few times, was in some lineups that never made it to debut. Most notable of those being IOLITE, where all members simultaneously left the company before debut. And yet, the CEO insists on debuting the group, even with a completely new lineup. Some shady business going on there behind the scenes. Minjeong herself seems to be focusing on content creation for Tik Tok and Instagram these days: https://www.instagram.com/doram_in02 #46: Chu Yejin is working as an actress: https://www.instagram.com/chuuu.3.yejin #47: Jung Haerim should be familiar to you as Elly. She debuted in Weki Meki alongside Sei (Lee Seojung) who got eliminated in the last round and Yoojung and Doyeon who are still in the running. Since we have four members of Weki Meki here in total, I'll take that as four different songs I can recommend :D I started with the debut last time, and this time it's Picky Picky, perhaps the most quintessential Weki Meki song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1taLXjVxB4U Elly has also competed on other shows like King of Masked Singer and Queendom Puzzle, as you know. She likes to keep busy while Fantagio has been keeping Weki Meki as a whole in the dungeon for two and a half years now Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_haerimida #48: Kang Gyeongwon debuted in Pristin under the stage name Yuha. I cannot overstate how big the hype for Pristin was back in 2017. The debut MV has almost 40 million views: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLfHuClrQdI And Pledis still fucked it up. Sigh. Gyeongwon would later also redebut in Hinapia and after that was over, she's been focusing on her social media: https://www.instagram.com/kanggyeongwonn She also opened a Youtube channel for vlogs a few months ago: https://www.youtube.com/@Kanggyeongwonn #49: Oh Seojung is currently a musical and theatre actress: https://www.instagram.com/oh_lyrical723 #50: Kim Taeha. Oh boy. So you might have heard of Momoland. JooE from Queendom Puzzle was in that group. They were formed through the survival show Finding Momoland and debuted in 2016 with 7 members. Taeha also joined MLD Entertainment (renamed from Dublekick) around that time and was added to Momoland as one of two new members in 2017, making them a 9 member group. By far their biggest hit was Bboom Bboom in 2018 with OVER SIX HUNDRED MILLION VIEWS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQGRg8XBnB4 This song was FUCKING MASSIVE. That's already half of what BTS achieved with Fake Love which only came out a few months later and it has more views that Likey by Twice which came out a few months earlier. Just to put it into perspective. MLD would follow it up with the very similar song Baam which was also quite successful but after that things went downhill. It seems like MLD Entertainment just didn't know how to utilise the insane viral success of Bboom Bboom. Things also weren't helped by the fact that both Taeha and Daisy, the two new additions from 2017, weren't present for the next comeback after Baam, allegedly due to health reasons. Though some fans speculate more sinister reasons but I won't get into that here. Regardless, Taeha officially left Momoland in late 2020 along with fellow member Yeonwoo. According to a Q&A on Taeha's Youtube channel it was because she wanted to express herself in her own voice more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLFEaR1KfiY Daisy was fired a bit later, leaving Momoland with only 6 members in the end. And yes, I use the word „fired“ deliberately because that's what Daisy herself is saying. She doesn't even know the reason why and it makes me question if Taeha really left Momoland voluntarily: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM4tpsqXI_w Daisy has been pretty vocal about her distain for MLD and the Kpop industry in general. Anyway, Momoland continued on a bit longer with 6 members, releasing music until early 2022 and disbanding officially in early 2023. As for Taeha herself, she opened a Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@taehadrama_1150) and is pretty active on Instagram these days: https://www.instagram.com/tx_xhx #51: Park Hayi debuted in a duo called Jukebox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGf2isCWE28 And she also released solo music under the name Park Hi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaPVPn9qdKw Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/parkhayi #52: Park Gaeul debuted as a member of FAVORITE in 2017 and remained active with them until their disbandment in 2021. Their most popular song seems to be Loco: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4nZjrXc1BQ Gaeul now posts vlogs on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@gaeulinlove Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/park.ga.eul #53: Yu Sua has several groups behind her. First up was Seeart/Oahsis in 2016 (no proper MVs), then Aqua in 2018 together with Kim Sihyun who was eliminated in episode 5 and finally D.A.N in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ8iNG0N0wI Somewhere along the way she also got the stage name Rijae. Today she seems to be working as a dancer mostly: https://www.instagram.com/__shuarune__ #54: Lee Jinhee debuted in Bulldok alongside Say (Park Sehee) and Kimi (Kim Minji). She got the stage name Genie. Since disbandment she has apparently been working as a model but doesn't have any public social media I could find. #55: Ariyoshi Risa left the idol life and opened a fashion store. Though the last updates on the store's Facebook page and her personal Instagram happened all the way back in 2018 so I don't know where she's at now: https://www.instagram.com/rixxiii3 Apparently she got married in 2021. #56: Hwang Ayoung was part of the 101 project group. She apparently also released some solo songs but I wasn't able to find them. Today she seems to have some involvement with a group called FreezyBone but information on that has been difficult to decipher: https://www.instagram.com/freezybone200 Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/a_0young #57: Im Jungmin debuted in 2020 as a member of Lunarsolar where she went by the stage name Taeryeong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DcztTenU2o The group was sadly not very long lived and only got one proper comeback before disbanding in 2022. Jungmin herself went solo and changed her stage name again to Muu (pronounced like the Pokémon Mew): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZIRspSSWSM Her Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lim_muu #58: Kim Yeonkyung debuted as a soloist in 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h1DRKwaKbo This is the only video I've been able to find and it seems like she has also deleted all her social media since then. #59: Lee Younseo has left Cube Entertainment. Nothing else has been publicly heard from her since PD101. #60: Shim Chaeeun was in the lineup of a group called OMZM but they never debuted. She opened a Youtube channel but hasn't been very active recently: https://www.youtube.com/@Chaeeun1003 #61: Kang Sihyeon was also in the lineup of OMZM. However, she later managed to debut in another group called Ariaz in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QISipqxMXxU Ariaz disbanded in 2022 due to... various issues. I don't wanna get into it here because it's a lot but this is a good video on the matter if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnk3cSJL5Xk Sihyeon herself still posts on social media: https://www.instagram.com/sihyeon_shine
