Hi everyone ^_^

One of my upcoming plans is to overhaul the skill system into something more interesting and involved. Effectively, I'll be swapping out the old system where there are only 3 skill levels for each skill with one where there are 5, where players slowly gain experience through doing the related action (or through training) which builds them up more naturally. Of course, visiting the upcoming Slave School location will be an important aspect of building up those skills, though working at the various jobs will also be a productive way of levelling skills too.

However, to put this into action I'll have to go through the entire game to add in the new experience checks.

Whilst this is a big job already, what this also gives me is also a prime opportunity to implement other major game-wide overhauls at the same time. So, recently I've been wondering if the game stats for the player are too confusing and hidden, and whether this might be a good time to solve this issue. As such, down below I'm going to outline some of my ideas.

---

1/ More hints/tips information on stats - As a basic solution to the information issue I could add in more details on stats to the hints/tips page, so players who want to better understand them can look them up there.

2/ Stat change information on pages - One of my main thoughts is to include stat boxes at the top of each page where a stat is changed stating exactly what has changed. These boxes would be part of the text (so not pop-up notifications), and would be toggle-able for people who find them immersion breaking. They would include a list of all the stat changes, for example, "Submission +10", etc.

3/ Item gain notifications on pages (except for stores) - Like with the stat change information above, I was thinking about adding item gain information to that information box too. So, when the player gets give an outfit there would be a note in the box like, "Acquired: Diner Uniform".

4/ Quest started/finished notifications on pages - The final piece of key information I would like to add into the suggested information box would be quest information. This would only be a simple, "Quest Acquired: Escape", or, "Quest Complete: Escape", but I think it would help players who only skim the game to understand when they've picked up new quests (or finished/failed them).

Hope that all makes sense and isn't too rambling. This is more of an advisory poll to figure out the communities opinion on the matter, and to give me an excuse to talk a bit more about some of the plans.

If you have any thoughts that aren't covered by the poll, then please feel free to leave your feedback/suggestions below, they are always appreciated ^_^

P.S. Feel free to vote for as many choices down below as you'd like to.

Related to the quest started/finished notifications, if the Tasks system with trainers is going to be part of ongoing development, I'd like to be able to see what active tasks I have. I don't think there's anywhere to see that in the game right now.

Hi smolbat ^_^ Sorry for the slow response. The active tasks should be displayed in your quest journal, though it isn't a particularly convenient location for them now that I think about it. I'll give this some thought, see what I can do. Thank you for the feedback :)

Hi Hazard Shrimp ^_^ From the interest I'll likely be doing all three, especially seeing as I'll be going in to update everything already. Thanks for the feedback :)
