After tons of testing we have opinions on the AGM Global Rattler TS series of thermal sights. These are truly compact, lightweight thermal sights with available high resolution and different pallets (shown). While representing substantial cost, this technology costs about 1/2 off what it used to be and those sights were massive.

In field we'll take you showing the Rattler thermal sights in action. Sean the TNPr helped me test these units; him a 384, me a 640. Those numbers are important btw b. they represent the resolution of the thermal unit. Higher the number, the better it is. Included in the review will be a non-run down of the menu items b. no one cares. Instead I'll mention its high points and how we found the interface and changing the important stuff. Check out the AGM Global vision channel below to see their sight-in instructional video; it usually will go easily once you have a thermal-visible target setup.

No killing of animals is shown here; there's plenty of that in YT if you want such. But you'll see imagery on a momma and baby deer that demonstrates the 640 capabilities clearly.  A clip on version of this sight is being sought and I might review that variation as well. But most would prefer and use most this "TS" dedicated weapon mount version as discussed in the video philosophy.  This was a complex, expensive time consuming review for. your systems, as always brought to you by TNP donors.

Im kind of waiting for some of these models today becoming outdated and having the price drop from $3000 to the $1500 range so I can buy one 😅 I'm wanting to put one on a 22 creedmoor bolt gun for coyote hunting.

Do you recommend the AGM Rattler more than the ATN Thor 4 thermal scopes?
