Here's another by-request KRV from the donors. The Cold Steel/Demko AD1-15 series seems to have excited many in the knife community. Count me out! That's right, here comes another negative review from your long-time truth dispenser. I'll show you AD-15 attributes that just don't cut it for me and then I'll start piling on. Now if you still love by all means use that link below to get one and be happy!

When Cold Steel Doesn't Hit: Demko AD-15

I think when cold steel uses the term Lite they purely mean the materials are cheaper, otherwise they would have called it the AD-15 Lightweight or light.

Last blade I owned or purchased that you ragged on and hated (or at least were super un-enthused by.) Was the CRKT woods kangee t hawk. (That was years ago now) You said it too was too heavy and was more expensive than the cold steel counterparts etc all that stuff. However I STILL stand by that tomahawk and my opinions of it. It IS the best tomahawk for woods use. I have used it for years now and it has held up amazingly. It is still far lighter and more packable than an axe. And steel quality and finish quality is miles ahead of the cold steel hawks. So I think this will just be yet another blade we disagree on. (Which of course is fine, that is bound to happen) I grant you it is too heavy for the size, however im less in tune with that than you are. i usually carry a 5.5 inch talwar or espada daily and an olight m2r warrior pro with the 21700 batt. (With an assortment of other blades and useful crap with me) so it is clear that I prioritize firepower and capability over being super lightweight. And as to the looks of the blade. I find it has the same beauty that a Glock does. People say the Glocks are ugly and iv always thought opposite. Something about the blocky squared off lines of those i just find beautiful. (The same does not apply to women about blocky and square lines being appealing! 🤣) Anyway thanks for filling my review request. I was still entertained. Stay sharp Nutn’.

That T-Hawk is amazing. Non-knife buddies always look at it with Glee when I pull it out at the campsite. I just wish I got the one with a hammer instead of the one with a hook.
