Here I review the Sidewinder series. We got our start here in the AGM line with the excellent Taipan 384. This provides even more performance. As we've discussed, a handheld thermal monocular will be your most used and versatile NOD. I'll show lots of infield use with the Sidewinder, both deer and human forms in complete darkness. I'll show you how I saved some yearling deer being attacked by a coyote too! Detection ranges also discussed and shown. Running off an 18560 battery and having in-device recording (with audio!) makes the Sidewinder easy to use in perimeter security and the other POU discussed. I cover some technical stuff here but mostly keep it simple and easy to understand. I'll show you the quality of the unit and talk to its durability in testing.
