Marc at Island Watch in NY does some really excellent self branded watches. This is one of them. I do think this is more of a field watch than an aviator but it doesn't matter; both of some of my fave styles and incorporate elements I like. For instance Seiko auto movements, sapphire crystals, great hands, great straps, and great lume. Looks like a cheaper version of the Laco Type B (which I love). Laco is still made in Germany but uses Miyota movements. I love my Laco, but I also like these for the price.

The Islander watches are a great value. They give you the things that you want and need in classic designs. The companies that offer similar watches stop just short IMO by not including sapphire crystals.
