At Wyatt's place with an infield shooting extravaganza on the Bear Creek side charging AR15/AR10 complete uppers. As Wyatt points out, these are ideal for suppressing since no direct gas blowout happens at the receiver rear. He shows his suppressors of choice. I have a little fun on W's choice of ammo. And since I'm here the guns will have a problem or two!

Ive reviewed a few of BCA uppers and barrels and have been super impressed with how well they have shot. To many gun snobbs turn their nose to these types of products. Nice to see you highlight a few of them Nutn!!

Sounds like BCA is hit or miss on QC. I have a .223 wylde BCA upper on a YHM lower and it's 100% reliable and sub moa. Talking first round hits on a 6-inch plate at 400 yards in low wind with 55gr sierra blitz kings. Side charger isn't my favorite though--I keep an allen key, spare charging handle, and screw in my grip because if your charging handle comes off you're done! Radian Raptor SD charging handles do great dispersing gas, so T-handle is better. I like the Silencerco GDCH too, but I don't like that it's entire function depends on an easily lost O-ring. On handloads...they're better, more accurate, and more reliable than factory ammunition when done correctly. I've got gas guns that get fed nothing but handloads and they work fine. I think that 350 legend issue you were seeing is just a problem with running that cartridge in ARs in general. Given the good luck I've had with BCAs .223 Wylde, I may give their 6.5 CM a try--but I'll be getting the T-handle one!
