Compact, lightweights comfortable in use, good steel. The Benchmade Leuku 202 tracks a Finnish design influence but the results are excellent. You'll see it here in testing, in the hot desert this time, and I'll show a super cool sheath that takes the Leuku next level. It's great to see an exciting fixed blade design come out of the dormant BM design studio. Few are the mid sized CPM-3V field knives and the the Leuku is welcomed by TNP into the fold. Also a still rec'd competitive options emerges again.

Do you think this would be a good skinner/field dressing knife? I wonder if the blade might be a little too long for what I would buy it for.

I think it is too long. My deer hunting pack has rocked a Benchmade Nimravus & a high carbon Schrade Sharpfinger for years. They are all I need to field dress Bambi for a truck ride. (Edit) A cordless sawzall sees a lot of use during processing at home.

I bought a first production one which was cool and Ive used it a bit. Not as much as I’d like because when you watch nutnfancy you tend to grow a massive knife collection but the time spent using the knife was good! I would buy it again knowing what I know.
