FN’s slogan is “The World’s Most Battle Proven Firearms” and it delivers on this with its military contracts.  It also calls its pistols “RELIABLE–ANYTIME–ANYWHERE.”  Adding on to my 2017 review of the regular FNS9, we consider this long slide version. Yes I know, it's been discontinued by FN and their focus is on the 509 now. But you can find these still around and as such it merits a review. Along the way I'll show you the Dornier 335 and consider its interesting history and technology.

Several beloved competitive options come out because, as you know, I remain a big fan of the long slide format (https://youtu.be/1c_A9NmqjEw).  Another fun GRV with lots of systems philosophy again!

Since my god-father was a waist gunner in B-17’s and flew 30 missions over Germany from Nov 44 to May 45, i do not feel bad about the Nazi bastards not having the parts to field their high speed, high altitude interceptors.

Yo!!! That ATV shooting looks fun as hell! Sick video, I have a soft spot for long slide pistols, just something about them, like big old cars "boats". Brah!? Why did they quit making the FNP, that was the first video I found of yours, back in like 2010 or 2009, first pistol I ever bought. Two tone, 9mm, will never get rid of that gun. Been a Gun Toting Freak ever since.
