The first gun I ever owned was a 357 magnum 6-inch Colt King Cobra purchased at a pawn shop in the early '90s while I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY (Rakkasans!). I shot the hell out of it until it went out of time. Eventually I gave it to my divorce attorney in lieu of cash for services rendered. To this day it remains the only gun that I ever used in "self defense". Sometimes I still reminisce about it. They were both sexy, but the gun was a keeper, the girl... not so much.
