We'll start off with a P38 Lightning remembrance first!

Then we get to business on perhaps Spyderco's GREATEST fixed blade knife: the Perrin lightweight bowies.  The Street Beat and the Street Bowie have been brought back and should be some of their top sellers.

These VG10 clip bladed versatile knives are perfect for application to LBE.  Also POUs of woods blade, EDC, defense are proffered.  Add in a perfect sheath, a 6 oz or less carry weight, and reasonable price.  Here's my original TNP 2008 writeup on these blades!

"If you can carry a mere 6 oz you can carry A LOT of knife with this Fred Perrin.  Super light, super balanced, outstanding grip configuration, excellent steel, and a perfect sheath:  I can't think of anything that would make this fixed blade design any better.  This culmination of design perfection makes this an ultra versatile blade: hunting, camp knife, tactical use, EDC.  Spyderco tapped out another home run with this one. But sadly this Perrin is no longer made but keep your eyes open for some on the market."
