After 7 years of testing, the Nutnfancy FJR1300 review is here.  I'd actually done it in 2018 but was not happy with it. The upside of waiting is now I have even more exposure to the FJR's competitive options like from BMW.  We'll talk about this.

You might enjoy the epic Pacific Ocean and the ocean rock formations in the background.  This is a great place north of Bodega Bay CA I specifically searched out for the review.

The I get down to business covering the good and the bad on the FJR.  Its laid down on a good POU discussion and the whole video is for someone shopping this bike.  Power, economy, ergos, suspension, rider amenities, looks/colors, wind protection, reliability, cargo capability are all covered.  As I wrap up I answer if I'd buy it all over again or go for the also excellent competitive touring motorcycles.

An epic 1+ hour MRV!

2020 Yamaha FJR1300 Review by Nutnfancy

Just returned from a very smoky Cascade Loop in Washington State on the 2016 FJR1300... I've had it since 2018 (purchased new from a dealer). I've rotated through several bikes for touring and so far the FJR1300 fits me the best, at least for my POU. "your mileage may vary." I've put over 13000 miles of touring on it, all through the Pacific Northwest, up to Jasper Canada and as far south as Albequerque. It's never let me down. Easy to maintain, comfortable on Iron Butt Rides (1000 miles / 24 hours). Nutnfancy's original review of the FJR turned me on to the bike.

I’ve slacked and haven’t watched your videos in a while. However, I’ve had much fun catching up! Love the motorcycle videos. I don’t even ride, but between your motorcycle videos and Long Way Up/Down/Round I’ve been really tempted to lose some wheels. I think I’m a minority in TNP would much rather see watches, adventures, and knives than guns. I have my fair share of firearms but to me they are just first cool.
