Don't get too excited on the KSG 25...not yet.  For sure there's a lot of reviewers who sign off on this 25 shot (!) combat shotgun without reservation and are giddy with the prospect of a 25 shot pump gun.  But there's some things you need to know about it.  You've come to the right place.

First, the KSG 25 is very heavy and a bit ungainly.  We'll talk about that in the Bunker of course...firepower vs mobility again.  Lots of infield testing video is shown during the discussion.  Second, like some other KelTec firearms, there's a rub.  The testing had to be extended because of it.  A shell consideration is proffered from my data; it is the key to making your KSGs run well.

Other considerations will be covered like sighting options, loading, competitive options, and comparisons against other perhaps more preferred KSG options.

But I'll give this Fortress KSG it's due props: it has considerable firepower, it's one of kind, it's intimidating, relatively affordable, and it will do point defense like few other shotguns. Make sure you stay to the end too when I say if I'd buy one or not too!

Wanna hear a sad story. Walked into a gun store a few days ago. Looking around and i see a friggin mint used Winchester 1300 defender on the rack. I have one already and i have a bunch of pumps 870s 500s ect but like you i like the 1300 and this one was very nice. Didn't even look at the price was like yeah whatever ill buy it. Started the paperwork and was all excited and the manager came out and was like oh dude you cant sell that to him it already was bought by someone earlier on their online store. Needless to say i was so bummed out.
