"1930s Announcer Man" starts off the WRV in order to intro a new segment:  analyzing Swiss watch advertising.  Breaking it down  it might help us understand "the man behind the curtain."  It's focused in purpose and strives to create certain seductive feelings within the purchaser.  It wants to connect with him on an emotional level...filling voids in his busy life.  Most of these "targets" feel their $7000 purchase represents good value.  For the most part, they are deceived.  Effective advertising is supposed to do that.

There's lots of pushbacks agains these silly $7K Swiss watches, here's another one:  the Fossil Nate chronograph.  Lacking expensive celebrity infused ad campaigns, it's super affordable.  But don't judge it on cost.   The casework, strap, face execution on the Nate series is top notch.  That the watch snobs hate it just lets you know you're on to something good.
Check out the varieties too.  Some here have been improved with my programming but it's not necessary; their legibility is excellent.

One superb high value chrono watch is also proffered:  the Aimant Berlin.  It has a different personality but ticks off the same great details as the Nate.  In the end you'll see why the Fossil Nate  is one of my fave watches...even if Brad Pitt doesn't wear one (at least when others are looking!).

Fossil Nate series, they sell fast:  https://amzn.to/2YG3Bc9

Fossil 42mm Diver, get these while you can, will review it:  https://amzn.to/2B7FB92

Not a Chrono guy, but this was an excellent watch “research” vid! I love it when you bring so many watches to the table
