You could spend $500 on the auto Hamilton Khaki H70575733 field watch or you could get this high value excellent "Smokejumper" field watch.  Made by Momentum, this is a flat wearing awesome looking watch from the "Atlas" lineup.  With that in mind, I'll also review in this WRV it's brother, the "Atlas 44."  It is a big improvement of the lilliputian 38mm version that I got rid of, the Atlas 44 is perfectly sized and has great wrist presence.

Both watches have big personalities but in different ways:  the Smokejumper is tactical black and stealthy, the Atlas 44 possesses a lume face with stark black arrow hands.  Each looks like a technical field watch and has legible day/date...a rarity it seems.  Both run on the entirely adequate Seiko VX43E quartz movement powered by 371 battery.  Sapphire, AR coated crystal option is shown and discussed but I think it's a waste of money.

Their excellent strap options, clear markings, 100M water resistance, great looks, and versatile sizing make both the Atlas 44 and the cooly named Smokejumper a favorite field watch.

As a bonus you'll see the Nutnfancy programmed version of the Smokejumper at the end of the video!  Also a fun Robotech and B24 discussion ensues!

I bought the Atlas 44 after watching this review. Mine is the same configuration as yours with the titanium case, sapphire crystal, luminous face with black numerals and hands. I really dig the aesthetic and it is super lightweight. I got mine with the leather band which I do NOT recommend. It is good quality leather, but is too short to make it into the second keeper on my wrist. I will be getting a Zulu replacement band soon. Best wishes!
