One of my fave analog watch series to date, I make the case that the Tissot Chromo XL is not just a "Swiss starter" watch but a destination timepiece. It is affordable and is mostly Swiss (some foreign parts). You'll see how the Chrono XL is a chameleon, taking on entirely different personalities according to case color, straps, and hand treatments. Oh yeah, add in a couple of Nutnfancy hands modifications and strap swap outs here on some of these Tissots too. One with a Massari vintage leather strap is a stunner. Several colors are shown and thanks to a TNPr who helped out with a loaner. Perfectly sized, Oris-style legibility, crisp pusher action, sapphire crystals, excellent straps, and a Swiss value price point impress me. Though 45mm too, you'll find the XL wears flat and trim as well. These are some of the best chronos I've found to date, never mind the price. They seem like a $1000 watch to me.
