Battle of the AK Bolt Actions: Howa 1500 Mini Action (Patreon)

It's always fun to see how accurate a 7.62x39mm rifle can get.  For that you'll need an accurate platform and that usually means a bolt action.  This would be a good time to review the Howa 1500 and even better to get one in that chambering.  Welcome to the Howa 1500 Mini Action TNP review and this GRV will work for all types within the 1500 lineup.

Small and compact, the Howa Mini action will be compared against the previously reviewed Ruger American Ranch bolt gun in 7.62x39mm (https://youtu.be/x1RwUFIMoqg).  Features are covered with some criticisms in the 1500 construction.   Also there was a big hiccup in the Howa 1500 discussed and shown here; the magazine was the problem.  But it won't condemn this otherwise very accurate, smooth, and high value bolt gun. 

In the end I'll draw a conclusion on how the Howa 1500 stacks up against the also excellent Ruger American Ranch bolt gun in 7.62x39mm.
