I don't like this knife.  Dial in for another mini Nutnfancy rant on why.  The Ruger/CRKT collab DOES have some good features but in the end it has some show stopping downsides for me.  It is laughingly billed as a "survival knife."  Uh, no.  I will show you a real survival, woodcraft blade in this KRV for comparison (below) and we'll revisit some of the testing we'd done with it.

It's too bad the CRKT put out a dumb knife. Really like the M16-12Z I carry. Would skip on the tanto edge next time though.

Overall, I really dig the short, big belly bowie design. I didn't know they were trying to market this as survival. It's just not. I recently bought one (not seeing that you had a video on it) and overall like it as a farm knife, but the balance is not for chopping at all. I did have to clean the edge up on mine a bit.
