You hear it all the time...and they're probably right.  The younger generation, the Millenials and the Z Gen'rs, seem to possess an overriding sense of entitlement.  They don't feel they really need to work to achieve the good things in life.  They are just owed these things because they're just "special."  They look for others to pick up the tabs in their life and for others to do the real work which make nice things possible in our society.  They pretty much coast in life, they sit around on their phones and computers, and they complain cannot achieve life success only because they're persecuted in some fashion.

Are you like this?  Let's see.  In this Nutnfancy Philosophy video we get under the "hood" of your upbringing to see if you were the recipient of some bad parenting.  Maybe this is why you turned out this way.  The philosophy, based on lots of living, my own moral system, my own upbringing, and seeing the mistakes of many along these lines (including my own).  It is only designed to help you the young viewer of this video.

What does it mean to be entitled?  What are some signs?  Is it even wrong?  All that will be visited in the "bunker," one of my reviewing areas for the gear aspect of TNP.  So why does this video emerge from an adventure gear Channel?  Because it is seldom discussed openly like this and the message is needed.

I'll give some examples of my upbringing.  I too come from a fractured home life and I make the point that pretty much all parents suck.  You'll see you can't use that as your life excuse however.  I'll give you some tips on maybe how you can dig yourself out of the actually crippling entitlement attitude, work, and achieve true happiness in your life.

I am from the millennial generation and I have never felt a part of their crap. I think my broken family situation helped light that fire underneath me like you were describing--that anxiety. My parents got divorced when I was nine and I knew then that nothing was going to be provided to me if I didn't go out and get it. In hindsight I am grateful for the suck that I had to put up with from that situation because it made me who I am. My brother has it too and we just are shocked at the work ethic of the people we've worked with. I am glad that you do these videos because it shows me how to teach this stuff without putting my kids through a divorce like what I did.
