Friggin' dog ate my stew.  Oh well, I get past that to show you three pretty excellent and tiny backpacking stoves I would buy.  Oh wait, I DID buy them.  We'll consider the "BRS Ultralight," the Kovea "Supalight Titanium" KB-0707, and the "TopOne" 4 oz camp stove.  The Lixada listed below will be very similar to the BRS option.  BTW the names could change on the ultra affordable stoves; see links below.  The performance to price ratio is amazing on these tiny stoves; no more to the elite Alpine companies corner the market on ultralight stoves.

We have some epic late fall winter for this TNP expedition as we do some boiling water testing.  We'll test a failed alcohol Vargo stove in the beginning and I'll show you why these things suck.  Best to get a lightweight canister stove as I rec' here as they are reliable and highly efficient.  These are what I use in my own Bug Out Kit.  Of course these are top choices for any backpacking excursion as well!

Thanks to TNP Patreon member James Goins for the idea to review the BRS stove!
