TESTING the Ruger/CRKT collaboration "Muzzlebrake" knife.  The proportions are good, handle is roomy, the 8CR13Mov steel in this survival/fighter is welcome, the sheath is good, and blade grind/sizing is good. It does well against this newly fallen tree...Mrs Nutnfancy on the camera!

Amazon delivered mine today, Wife asks why I needed it, I hesitate and she says did that Nutin guy tell you to buy it? I try not to smile...

Love the review; glad it was made—not so crazy about the Muzzlebrake. I have two favorite TNP recommended, big camp knives—Boker Vox Rold, which I like for SWC and made a custom kydex sheath for, and Schrade Extreme Survival, heavier but what a beast! (...at a GREAT price, with an okay sheath.) They are my gold standards. Handle on the Extreme Survival practically grabs me back—no need for tape. If a big fixed blade knife can’t bring something more to the table than those, at a similar price, then what is the point? (In my opinion.) Thanks for the video which clearly demonstrated what I need to know about this knife. More like this, please, with info about sheath.
