Okay... I'm just getting into EDC so I'm certainly no expert, but there are two things I've decided to carry that I haven't heard mentioned (although I certainly could have missed it). A small lighter to start a fire and resealable lunch bag if I need to carry some water from place to place.

EDC is very personal. Nutn has his things, everyone is different. Get what makes sense for you. With rule of Law vs Without rule of Law makes a huge difference. He makes fun of "it's in my car", but there are things I don't see worthy of keeping on me due to complexity/weight. Do your thing, but a gun, a knife, and ID are core basics that are added to as needed for me. But what do I know?
