It's a separate implemention, it's not done via replacing the exisiting FSR2.

Actually when using this you would need to keep FSR2 off.

All the post-processing are reserved cuz DLSS is done in the TAA pass which is before most post-processing.

Anyway so far I am seeing way less artifacts than FSR2, as expected.

Pic 2 is DLSS in rapid camera rotation, and pic 3 is FSR2 with the same motion and captured at the same angle, you can tell that FSR2's image looks much more aliased.

I still need to test it some more before I can release it.

Don't expect this to have a huge performance boost for 20/30 series cards, cuz it's the same as FSR2 performance-wise, only with better image quality.

Mate! You are a rock star! Respect from New Zealand.

I love your work, keep it up man! I'm glad I am a supporter

I know it's a longshot, but I hope you can find a way to improve performance on 20/30 cards as much as on 40, keep up the good work!

Adanedhel

Man, this is black magic :D are you planning on releasing any updates for 30 series in the future focused on performance? For Skyrim for example 🌿

Anonymous

you're asking for something that can't happen. DLSS 3 or Frame Generation is not available on anything other than the 40 series. However DLSS 2 does work on all RTX series cards, but the better cards will generally be better at using it because they have more and newer Tensor Cores. So, no software is every going to provide the same uptick across different generations of hardware.

I know FG doesn't exist on other series, hence why I didn't ask for it, I merely hoped that he could implement another process that might do the trick similarly, cheers

PureDark

Maybe when FSR3 is released. If it will support most cards it will be a fall back option for non-40 cards.

YES I would much rather use dlss quality than Frame Generation for a FPS boost, cant wait for this

PureDark

You got it wrong, only frame generation can have a significant FPS boost in this game, DLSS2 will only have better image quality than FSR2, but won't actually have better performance.

No no what I meant was that I would prefer DLSS2 upscaling over DLSS3 FG without any upscaling because FG sometimes have distracting artifacts. I dont ever use FSR (cus it diminishes the quality too much) so going from native to dlss2 WILL net me a fps boost

PureDark

Ah I have sub 40 fps in some area when GPU usage is about 60%, totally not GPU bottleneck, so I don't know if it would actually boost your FPS, but having some extra GPU headroom is always a good thing though.

I noticed that FSR2 is especially awful in games that don't also offer DLSS support, usually AMD sponsored, while it's ok (but still worse than DLSS) in games that have both like Uncharted and TLOU. You'd think AMD would make sure the tech is at its best in these games but nope lol.

perfecto amigo Gran aporte te lo agradezco

Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the amazing work - will continue to support

hell yeah just installed your newest mod, jump from 70fps to 105 in 4k with dlss2 quality and NO FG. Finally I can play the game. Thank you for your work
