Ok this one's a doozy.  It basically became an extended form of meditative therapy for me over the weekend; I just got SO wrapped up in making the marks and building the forms with line that I just kept going and adding more and more detail.
I did the whole thing in procreate, and apparently it's a little under 13 hours of work and almost 30,000 lines.  It might be the longest I've spent on just linework... ever.

Inspiration wise this is very much an homage to Arthur Adams.  I LOVE his work and it's always boggled my mind how much detail he gets into his art while maintaining so much clarity.  I don't know if I got close, but it felt great to try.

It will be coloured eventually, but for now I hope you enjoy the linework as much as I do!

Oh yeah, and I should say, the figure is Scarlet Chase, or SecretCrush as you may know her... elsewhere.  😏
