Just a quick post to tell you where we're at in regards to the translations I'm currently working on.


Endless Summer: the game's been fully translated since the end of last year. What I've been struggling with is not really proofreading as you probably think, but making sure every line fits in the box. Usually you can check if text will fit in the box in RPG Maker. But not only this line break function doesn't work correctly with this game, the dev uses name and text enlargement code a lot which makes it hard to predict if text will spill out of the bounds.

Thankfully, I found a solution. And a pretty simple one at that. I just added a temporary NPC to one of the game's locations. I add translated text as his lines and check them in-game. Another way to do it -- playtesting the game extensively -- would have taken a whole lot more time.

It won't take long now. 


Exorcist Chris: the aforementioned quality control method, unfortunately, doesn't work with this game. I've tried it last year, but it didn't work. My guess is because there's a standing picture of the heroine at all times.


But I've been checking text in-game the normal way -- by playtesting. And there's only two areas left now. Once final patch for Endless Summer is out, I'll dedicate a whole lot more time to finishing this translation. Sorry it took so long.


Elf of Hypnolust: transferred translation to version 1.5. Continuing to work on Emilia's content. Next patch either in the first or second week of February.


Dev is planning to release a content update for the game too. Would be great if I manage to finish the translation before that.


RJ01055361: new patch most likely this week. Translation efforts for this game have been rather unfocused. And by that I mean I haven't been working on one route in particular -- translated one event here, one event there. I'll try to stick to one route until it's finished in the future, but no promises. 


Silly Girls Quest: almost done with the third chapter. You can expect full translation in the first part of February.


Puppeteer: continue to slowly work on the game's h-events. Going to resume working on this game's translation full-scale some time this month.
