Initially, the heavily pregnant Okusan had gotten dressed up to woo her hubby Daa-san into bed. However, the kids had other plans...

I had intended to simply finish up the previous sketch I showed previously, but decided it could be turned into a smol comic, so I decided to flesh it out a bit. Also, I never seem to draw Okusan's face very well, so I wanted to do at least one panel of her not grimacing or looking weird. And then I added a splash of colour and now I'm late to bed. Welp. So much for that hiatus. o > o

She should be one of January's animations

Didn't know you read this manga?

Chris Wreker

I haven't read the manga in a while truth be told, I stopped after chapter 3. But I am thinking about catching up. It is still ongoing I believe and there is over 100 chapters. Have you thought to make a animation of Okusan? I mean you have done it with other anime characters before, like Pin-ups and such.

I plan to animate Okusan for sure, and maybe I'll do that over xmas if I have time. It would be the ultimate present for myself XD And yeah, you should catch up on Okusan, as she's currently pregnant and the author is taking it quite slowly

Chris Wreker

Well....I did not know that. Which chapter did that happened? Also interesting idea that would be, I feel like you should do it when you feel like or want to. There is no rush. Besides It is better to have quality over quantity anyway.

Sort of buried the lead there. ^_^

DimPixelAnimations

Yeah, that's what happens when you draw the last panel first and didn't plan ahead XD Next time, I'll give Okusan a cosier comic with more tum action

DimPixelAnimations

I think in chapter 90 she conceives, in chapter 100 it's confirmed she's pregnant and in 112 you see her first little tummy. The author is taking is slooooow And yes, one day, I will animated Okusan. I must!

Well mangaka in Japan are notorious for taking long breaks that last for months to years but honestly being a mangaka is not easy, it is back breaking work and people have to do it in under tight strenuous conditions to make a quality product. Honestly it feels like slave labor in a way.
