FW Update14: About Sonic... (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

Some, if not most, of you grew to know my work thanks to my origins in the Sonic scene. Almost exactly 3 years ago, I stopped doing Sonic art due to it oversaturating my work and negatively impacting my improvement as an artist. However, a near-ubiquitous influx of HeroAca art took its place in the years since. Looking at it this way, it's no secret that a ban on Sonic while HeroAca runs free has been a bit of a sore spot for some of my most longtime supporters.

I've had my reasons for quitting Sonic art while allowing HeroAca, but I've been recently mulling over this concern again in regards to commissions. In short, I'm thinking about lifting the ban on Sonic... but for an extra price, as I still am not wholly satisfied with returning to what could be another era of Sonic NSFW. I'm not necessarily trying to get Sonic customers back, just finding it smarter to keep the door open.

The reason I've been considering this at all, admittedly, is about the money. While I'm by no means on the verge bankruptcy, I don't think it'd be wise to stonewall a demographic that still asks for business to this day. Considering my greater financial situation, reopening Sonic art would probably do wonders for speeding up my battle against student loans, as well as supporting the overall growth of The FakeryFund in general.

Of course, I wanted to run this by you all before canonizing it into my commissions ruleset. It's only fair that you are made aware of the choices that lay ahead and the motivations therein. I just want to make it clear that while I am thinking about reviving an old opportunity, my passions and priorities still lie elsewhere.
