RemakeryWIP: Lines (Patreon)

Progress for this month's Remakerys: The Wild Pussycats Finale for Patreon, and Isabelle & Digby's Morning After for SubStar.

For the MHA one, I decided to just mostly follow the same composition of the old version, but wanted to put in a bit more work towards the background. Though once it's time for dialogue, I may have to make some judgment calls for more negative space to work with. I also decided to change up the arrangement of Pixie-bob and Mandalay. They were a lot more diminished in the previous version, and while it accomplished the separation of focuses for the image, it felt like their addition was tacked-on in the final composition, and therefore asks for a lot of attention away from Deku & Ragdoll with their noticeable juxtaposition in size.

As for the Animal Crossing one, I played it a lot more safe. Nothing too ambitious here, just refining the pose on Isabelle and making Digby look a lot more like his ingame design (scruffed up hair notwithstanding). I've recently taken a liking to using on-model renditions in panels for comedic effect, and I think it makes his more simplified expression of regret look really unique from Isabelle's more conventionally-realized one.

Hoping to wrap these out really quickly! I wanna make sure I get well ahead on comms this month so I can easily handle my next quarterly tax burden. With enough luck, I'll FINALLY be able to make time for Sampson & Jewel again.
