We've noticed on the first day of processing our Patrons payments, we've received both declined and fraud payments. We've decided to comment on these two statuses, and what you should do to avoid them if you want to continue being a Patron here:

Declined status: We understand sometimes, the money just ain't there and you need a few days to get money in your account. That is fine. Patreon after 5 days will re-process your card. Please make sure the money is in there when it does! However, if it becomes a common habit... we reserve right to kick you off the Patron list. Three strikes and you're out!

Fraud status: This, is a bit more of a serious matter. There are people who go on Patreon and will commit fraud to get a free ride. This will NOT be tolerated. But, that's not the only reason why a payment may come back as possibly fraudulent from your bank. 1) Blocking the transaction because it looks suspicious. 2) Accidently put in the wrong address/credentials. In case of a fraudulent payment, we will contact you to please check with your bank on the payment. Find out what is going on. You will have ONE WEEK from the first of the month to get the problem straightened out. We will send a follow up message mid week if the problem has not been resolved. If the status has not changed by the deadline, you WILL be removed from the Patron List.

Here's a tip from me since I've been using Patreon for a while: set your page to charge as soon as they pledge. If it doesn't clear, they don't get access to the content and you don't have to worry (afaik). Also, you don't have to worry about people subbing/unsubbing for freebies before the first payment is taken.
